    I like that you always start out on the 58. It's an industry standard, and hearing your voice for a couple of minutes on it first gives my ears a good reference point for judging the sound of the mic being reviewed. The battery looks like an 18650, which you can buy easily. The fact that it's replaceable is a definite bonus. Handling noise is great. Price is great. Sound is not bad, but certainly not up to the '58. I did hear some clipping, but that may have been a matter of gain settings. Dang good for the price.

      I wanna say it was a bit of a digital clipping if that makes sense? I heard it too but sadly not in monitoring

    • @ScottGrammer
      @ScottGrammer 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@ObscureMics yes, it makes sense. And it would also make sense that you might not hear it in latency free monitoring because that doesn't go through the digital encoding and decoding process.

    Solid for sure. Yet another mic you have found and reviewed that I have never seen nor heard of. I have no use for a wireless mic, but I could buy one first and FIND ways to use it...

      I enjoy being wireless ….as long as nothing funky happens, and this seems to be solid. Keeper for $36

    Love the replaceable 18600 battery. Moves this out of the e-waste-in-a-year category for sure

    Handling noise is impressive. Better than the comparable Tonor & Fifine offerings

    Really impressive buy. Reasonably good sound, solid build, great rejection, wireless, for 36 bucks - really good buy. I checked their Am@zon page and it says you can use this mic 50 METERS from the dongle! I can see this being used for a basic live event. Obviously it won't give you the best sound, but it delivers serviceable results and will suffice in many scenarios.

      Absolutely. Now of course I’m curious on a capsule swap

    While the sound seemed a bit "off" it was definitely usable and I can't help but wonder what a little EQ and maybe a few other effects could be added. It might make a huge difference. Now ... the handleing noise of off axis rejection were AMAZING for that kind of a price point. REALLY IMPRESSIVE. IF I needed a hand help wireless mic that might be a great pic for doing something like interviews at a noisy trade show or other environment. That could be a total home run. Did you try adding any EQ or anything else? How good do you think someone could get it to sound? I might have to get one as a just in case scenario...

      I have not done any eq with it yet. But I may use it for a podcast episode soon and do just that
