This unit is made by Razertip. The single burner is called the SL1 and the triple burner is called the SL3. Just make sure to order the 220v version.

I find it strange when Razortip or any other machines get the so-called Up grades why they need to, unless its a completely different set up machine like the P88 was over say one of the previous top machines the SS D10 , because when they make these machines they are always described as top-spec machines anyway, so I fail to see how much better firms such as Razortip can improve over previous models such as the P88 digital machine as they now revert back to shall we call it the conventional style of dial turning the heat up or down, it appears they are going backwards not forward in advancement. They also now stick another pen slot in now making Three pen connector plug-ins when is there REALLY there`s not a necessity for this when all you have to do is switch the pen itself into a One slot machine. It seems it's just a gimmick to say there's a New model out for sales benefit of boosting the sales .

Great comment. Technology certainly improves which allows for advancements. The P88 power system was really designed to be a digital (helped with achieving more accurate temperatures) and to be used in areas where the electricity was not as stable. Those were really the only benefits or upgrades with the P88. There are many people who want to "stamp" textures using a woodburner. The previous models can do the "stamping" but it was slow. Razertip redesigned its pens to make them more durable and to withstand additional heat. With the more robust pens, Razertip could then design a burner that put out more heat. The SL1 and SL3 with the newly designed pens, can allow people to burn and especially make deep textures much faster. This extra heat along with the benefits of the digital display, are certainly an upgrade compared to the previous models. The extra port on the triple burner isn't a game changer, but maybe nice for people who switch between pens a lot.

@@treelineusa Thank your for your explanation. I started off with a Great machine which I still use most of the time these days ,its A BurnMaster Hawk .60 watt and it's a very good Machine . I`ve had it around 7 yrs now and although I
"upgraded "to a RazerTip P88 which I do like , I still find myself going for the Burnmaster Hawk first . Its got a very good wide heat range and can go VERY Hot when cranked fully up, but I never have used it on full power as It's like a thermal Lance at that heat LoL.
I do try hard to use the P88 more ,but for a reason I know not why I still pull the trusty O`l Burnmaster Hawk out first to the dismay of the P88 no doubt.
