Waterproof housing . It gives more confidence, plus we have a stick to hold on to.. I would say its a must for water sports activities and good for rainy days too(as the combo is not water resistant.
First, you should have cleaned the screens with the wipes. Second, apply the protectors. and lastly, the casing or cages. That I would do if it is me...
With the case and screen protectors installed am I able to use the macro lens accessory? Also, is this case any different from the one that comes with the camera now?
I'm patiently waiting for the magnetic protective case that DJI will be sending out! It says with the case on, it will enhance the video recording capabilities of the Action 2! I can't wait to test it out and see how effective it will be!
Nice! I have the same setup as yours. But I also have a USB Port Plug that keeps any PPM particles that shouldn't be in there. Though I highly doubt that doing so would make it water resistant. Enjoy!
What about the weight problems with those little tiny drone you're flying with them which one weighs less the GoPro hero 10 or the DJ action 2 how many batteries do you have to go through those little drones for 5 minutes or 4 minutes landing.
I have the same case and the case DJI sent for overheating… however once I put an nd filter on… the case doesn’t fit right? Have you had similar problems? Or found a case that fits the nd filters?
I'm not proud that I have the Action 2 for how long yet I haven't gotten a rig case for it yet! But it doesn't matter now since DJI's giving away a free heat-control case for the Action 2 and I'm happy about it!
Did you try shake it and noticed rattling noise? I have an issue with my case or maybe a design flaw with the smallrig case. The mic picks it up. Annoying specially when you mount it to bike handles. I have sent some videos to Smallrig for them to check. I did the same thing adding tempered glass screen protector but not with the lens. Am worried of color cast.
I must say the clear winner is the DJ I action 2. Because of the small factor you did not compare it to their action camera equally to the DJI GoPro hero 10 they have their own version of that one. If you compared their flagship version of the GoPro hero 10 of their version it would be more equally. So is there for because of the lightweight DJI action 2 to is the clear winner. I do love GoPro products which I do on a Max which is their best camera of all of them if you want to get the perfect shot it's awesome 360 is the best. And I was going to be working for GoPro but the time I met my wife and I was going to be working in Japan flying into China for the company.
Why would one use the second screen on a skateboard in the first place????? Those are modules, for vlogging etc. For proper action, use the basic module (only).

I wanted a case also but I thought it would prevent the camera from cooling off faster after overheating.

And not to say with new firmware updates they could fix the things you did point out.
And also the battery he issue they could also fix firmware image and battery issues
