  • This Lecture 108 in series of my RUclips Channel "Geotechnical Engineering Consultancy Tips" describes and discusses about the foundation solutions found for building Ram Temple on a typically unsuitable soil for such a massive Structure to be built if you have no other option to build the structure anywhere else but at the specified location only. Comprehensive Sub-Surface Exploration was done and innovative engineering solution was found to build after deciding to adopt necessary ground improvement techniques most suitable for the specific site location.

Hello sir! I am doing a research on soil settlement, we have a data of soil borehole logs but lacks data for consolidation tests. Can we predict soil settlement based on soil borehole logs? If so, what methods can we use?

No, you can not without doing the tests or you should have it's classification, etc. with you or otherwise Standard Penetration Test Results with you to get those results based on vast experience. I will advise you to please share me your problem statement on my mail ids' anuragkapoor16@yahoo.co.in or anuragkapoor16@gmail.com

Cengrs had done the geotechnical investigation for the temple. Since sand is encountered to over 120 m depth, consolidation settlement is not expected to occur. All the settlement i essentially immediate.
