3 Hours in Salem at Halloween! Was it enough?

- Salem, Massachusetts! Home of the Witch Trials, Halloween capitol of New England! Is a day trip enough? What about just a few hours? Well, we dipped in for three hours into the most notoriously spooky and witchy and Halloween-attraction-y city in the United States to see what we could see in a hurry! From Monster Museums to Gothic shopping, Halloween Characters and crowds, we do as much as anyone can do in a few hours in old Salem! Come and find out if it's enough! Spoiler alert: It was definitely worth it!

My daughter is on her way to Salem which is on her bucket list. Her birthday was Sept. this is what she wanted. She has wanted to go forever, She loves fall and all things Halloween and spooky. I’m so excited for her and her husband. Thanks for the peak Jason it doesn’t look too crowded which will be nice.

We got back from Salem at the end of September 2023. It was a great time for us! Lots to see and do. We had no problems with crowds. On our last day, we discovered The Ugly Mug restaurant. We had breakfast there. Best breakfast ever!
Ageeed, the prices to actually stay in Salem are ridiculously expensive.

I could tell you before I watched the video that 3 hours in October in Salem is not enough time. The place is packed in October. Fun stuff and interesting history! I had to look for the Hocus Pocus locations, too!

Wait.....wait...WAIT, no comments on this video? Did this video get shadow banned or something? I am happy to be the first commenter, maybe stoke the flame so to speak. SALEM looks amazing. I wish someone would setup a week long LARP, one side the deranged, intoxicated(on ergot LSD bread, and the accused, but in this game the people are actual witches!!!
For future reference the first Thursday of October is always the parade. Former Salem resident. Thank you for showing me my old hometown though

New England is our home area so we love these vids. If you go to Salem again park at the train station and walk the few blocks to downtown.

There is so much to do in Salem, a lot of things off the beaten path too.. go during the spring or early summer and spend a few days 🥰🖤

Let me give you a little Salem Halloween hack!! Drive to the Beverly Depot in Beverly and there’s plenty of parking there in my town and then take the train 🚆 one stop to Salem!! You’ll have more than 2 hours and the trains run every half hour. 🙂
I was just in Salem two weeks ago, very much a tourist trap, did one of the ghost tours, though. If you get the chance, Lexington and Concord are well worth the visit.
