Inside a $19,000,000 Superyacht | Westport 130 Pipe Dream

- Another huge seller for Westport with some 40 deliveries across the 130 and later 40M models, this tri-deck design was created for Caribbean adventures but makes for a superb all-round cruising yacht.
Pipe Dream is the later 40M design with a slightly redesigned superstructure but perfectly reflects the Westport cornerstones of excellent decks allied to an interior you will want to spend time in.
The tri-deck design creates the room for a main deck stateroom, four very good guest cabins and an upper lounge with its own dining-focused outside terrace. The interior finish mixes warm and convivial design with the kind of detailing you rarely see today. The stone and ceramic work in the ensuite alone is worth its own review.
Another wonderful oddity of Westport design is creating deck spaces people use. The main deck aft, possibly the least used place on any yacht, feels like somewhere you will spend time in with a bar and a private, social feel, while the side decks and tiered foredeck are excellent. The sun deck that caps the 40m luxuriates in open space with a central dining table and bar and barbecue area to each side.
We are reliably informed the 40 will run all day at 20 knots but can also deliver 2,500 at 10 knots.

fabulous. the only builders who can top this are the dutch. yes there are some more "modern" and "stylish" designs but this is a solid, solid classic design. this particular boat is fantastic. the designer for the refit really do deserve top credit and deserve to be named. extraordinarily beautiful work.
She looks like a home from home. The decor is beautiful the woodwork is exceptional. Its modean looking yet with the woodwork it looks old fashioned. But it shows off the heritage pf boating making by Westport. Lovely boat for the lazy hazy days of summer, as you cruise on the sea.

She's a stunning looking yacht. Westport makes some fine yachts but fkr whatever reasonn, I envision them in the Northwest of the US lkke Oregon, Washington and Alaska, or the Caribbean, especially Dominican Republic, Haiti, St, Kitts and then the Seychelles. They don't strike me as Med yachts. But thats just me

I'm curious why, when selling a 2013 vessel, you spend so much time in your description reflecting on future changes to the design? Surely, the viewer is interested in this boat, not current, more expensive, ones? Otherwise a lovely boat that I would've been interested in if it hadn't been for you persuading me to look at another, more recent one...

This looks extremely well built,clean and definately a home from home....i love it to be honest,especially top deck lounge which i would use for poker and whisky bar area for the boys....i would want 230v uk spec electrics though,so i would discount it as a real pick on those grounds as well as the obvious massive price...i couldn't spend over 10 million,i wouldn't do it....feels wrong to the extreme.

"you might think of this as being a sun deck... you could... be right" an owners deck has the owners cabin on it but since the whole yacht belongs to the owner technically everything is the owners 🤷♂
