      It is very difficult for a person "in a profession", to turn against that profession.
      Scientific truth telling, will involve that question and issue.
      The minus is incredibly easy, to use on a child.
      Helping a person, go from 20/50 to 20/20 is possible, but the wise person must take this prevention process very seriously.

    Why not talk about getting out of it, getting a refractive change, from -0.75 D, to +0.5 D, or from 20/50, to 20/20?

    What's the use of Atropine Sulfate 1%, is it safe to use?

    • @RyanReviewsOptometry
      @RyanReviewsOptometry  3 года назад

      0.05% Atropine is what’s recommended and is safe.

      Atropine is a poison.
      No one knows about the long term effects.

    e members may be surprised that I will speak not on Jeffrey Kennett but on a constituent of mine, Mr Maurice Brumer. Maurice is a qualified second generation optometrist who has had continuous sole practice in Frankston for over 25 years. He is actively campaigning on behalf of children who, through no fault of their own, are condemned to a life of reading difficulties and early departure from the education system.
    Maurice has been punished for raising concerns about current standards of optometrical practice and the need to better incorporate findings of research into current modes of practice. In a paper entitled `Optometry: light of a perverted science', he initiated a discussion on the issue of spectacles being a harmful drug when not prescribed properly. He canvassed a number of matters relating to prolonged and intensive near-seeing, which he believes is not good for our eyes and our health. He firmly stated that the public has a right to know how glasses may adversely affect good health. Maurice made the point that he did not think this would happen while the optometry profession put the public interest in second place to its own self-interests.
    For his efforts, Maurice Brumer was expelled from the Victorian division of the Australian Optometrical Association, a first in history. He dared challenge the cabal that rules optometry in Victoria when he spoke out at a 19

      Maurice,
      Your efforts inspire early scientific prevention!
      I went from 20/50 to 20/20, in one year.
      That is -0.75 D to +0.5 D.
      Yes, science does it.

    can i get rid of specs my number is - 1.0 and -0.78 by eye exercise please reply ma'am

    • @RyanReviewsOptometry
      @RyanReviewsOptometry  3 года назад

      Unfortunately, eye exercises do not reverse myopia. However, your prescription isn’t very high so you most likely don’t need to wear it all the time.

      You can use a plus lens for all close work.
      Gets rid of all stress.
      Slowly, you get your Snellen back to 20/20.

    Why not help people go from 20/50, to 20/20?

    • @RyanReviewsOptometry

      That's something eye doctors do as well through glasses, contact lenses, and refractive surgery.

    In watching this video. Within the first five minutes, I'm hoping you could deliver a solid reason as to why ethnicity plays a part in myopia. At best, I would say it is culture as opposed to ethnicity, but but hey, I'm ready for all point of views.
    It is sad how the doctors and pharmaceutical industries never want to talk about how to reverse these diseases. So I understand why you had to say slow it down as opposed to not buy drugs and or glasses at best.

    • @RyanReviewsOptometry
      @RyanReviewsOptometry  4 года назад

      Unfortunately, there is no current treatments to reverse myopia. Current treatments focus on decreasing its progression.

    • @leavefollow1698
      @leavefollow1698 4 года назад

      @@RyanReviewsOptometry Yeah, from what I understand is that it is a deficiency of Vitamins such as A, E, and some amino acids. With that, there might be a little bit of hope to at least prevent it. I understand that everyone hid behind genetics as to why no disease can be reversed and why there is no remedy, but Dietary Epigenetics is a new wave of hope to the Western world along with the knowledge of Moringa and Mycologists and wonderful sea vegetables like sea moss. (Yum Yum) It doesn't look bright, but if they can reverse dementia, they can do anything.
      But can you tell me the ethnic connection then?

    Or you could reverse it using endmyopia but hey what do I know, i’ve only reduced my myopia and astigmatism by a full diopter since 2019 so dont trust this video. I will be surprised if this comment doesnt get deleted

      Avoiding a minus lens, at 20/50, is critical.
      I am now back to 20/20.
