During my age 13 I came to know that I'm affected by amblyopia in my right eye by birth so doctor insist me to do patching but I don't like it and I always skip that after some years later I went to another doctor they insist me to wear glasses. Now I scolding myself for not doing patching on my eye... After sometimes later I realized that thinking past cannot bring changes in my eyes so I ready to accept it. Now I wearing glasses this give me hope that at least it save me from vision loss.
@@sona3319 it happened to my right eye it was since birth and when I was like 3 or 4 my dad used to let me put the patch on my eye and I didn't like it and the doctor give me glasses, I hate the patch, and now I don't do it I am now 16 and they still tell me to do the patch, and now i want to do it so that I don't regret if something happens to my eye. I just want to ask for how many hours in a day should I put the patch on, my doctor says two or three hours, but I also want to know how many hours do people put it. For me I can't do it for like the hole day because I can't see well and I will mess things up I can just see like a Blurred vision this is the only word that I can use for what I see with one eye but i actually don't know how to Describe it, because if you searched for Blurred vision photos it's not like what I see if you know what i mean or i describe .
I am also suffering from AMBLYOPIA (LAZY EYE). AGE : 18 I have tried patching for several times , but it caused unbearable headache ,so ultimately I dropped the idea of patching.
It's more headache when I forcing to my left eye with covering eye patch to my right eye😞 until now, I'm difficult to see my left eye especially when I eyeliner to my right eye
I was diagnosed as a child, had patches and glasses at age 3. At some point later, the patch and glasses were removed. I needed glasses in my teens. Then in my 30’s my amblyopia returned, along with astigmatism and myopia. I have constant bruises from walls, door frames and furniture hitting me. A lot of times I just don’t see things on my right side. I can’t find anything I’m looking for, I always need help finding something.
Hard to say without more information but, with the appropriate treatment plan, you might be able to receive better vision out of your amblyopia eye. Your age of 18 is not a limiting factor.
Lazy eye in my right eye AGE: 13 I had a surgery on my right eye back in 2016 but it’s still cross sighted 😢 Could you give me tips how to make it go away naturally or any eye exercises if you know what I mean. I’ve always wanted to have normal eyes 😔
Not entirely. Visit your eye doctor to explore all of your options. In particular, correcting for your vision with glasses/contact lenses and patching your good eye in the evening for 2 hours each night could lead to visual improvement.
i have exotropia (a type of amblyopia where one eyes moves outward) but i’m also nearsighted. is there any contact lenses that treat both of these problems?

can my eye this be fixed, i’m 17 now. And i really want my eye to be corrected
Hard to say without an eye exam. However, amblyopia treatment beyond the teenage years, while less effective, can still yield positive results.

Thank you for sharing. It’s worth getting re-evaluated by an eye doctor as your prescription has likely changed.
IntroWellness | Health and Wellness Simplified I need to see my Opthamologist, because my general Optometrist says my vision hadn’t changed at all.

how to detect which eyes is lazy? my friends always got a headache and have some blurry vision. be she doesn't know which eyes is good or lazy.
A comprehensive eye exam is the BEST way to diagnose and manage amblyopia.
But what if one eye is smaller or the eyelid is lower than the other eye but you can still see?
Could be ptosis.
Good information
I have a Lazy Eye
I have a VR headset, should I still use it?
If you're not having any issue using it, why not!?

You should follow up with your surgeon for another surgical consult. Unfortunately, strabismus is not something that can be fixed with eye exercises.
Oh okay, thank you for replying
Both your faces are asymmetrical, I have the same problem, why is that?
Everyone's face is lil bit asymmetrical
I’m 27 with a lazy eye so does that mean there is no hope for me? Lol
