Beautiful Bears, that is quiet, calm and kind to children and other dogs, but dont belong to noicy big towns. These dogs belong the the green vally and hills in Switzerland, where they can run aound as cheperd dogs, because that is wat they are. Kind workings dogs, and happy and kind Superdogs. We have a Berner Rescue, Bea, who is 12+, and the light of our lives, after we got her from a neighbor who neglected her for the first 6 months of her life. She is the sassy mother superior of our animal kingdom which includes 5 kitties and a Beagle!
I want to adopt a Bernese mountain dog so bad, I plan to as soon as I graduate from college next year, they remind me of my childhood dog which was a Saint Bernard who passed away back in august and I can’t wait to have a giant teddy bear around again💙
I have a 75% BMD / 25% King Charles Spaniel mix that's 1.5 years old - we're all crazy about her. We needed a smaller dog and were scared about the life span of a huge dog but I was adamant about getting a BMD so the mix seemed like the best route. Well, we still ended up with an 80 pound dog fully grown but we're very happy we did it. I live in a downtown neighbordhood that's crawling with dogs, and we've got 6 BMD's on our street alone. They're hilarious and sweet dogs. One thing that surprised me, they are very good watchdogs that will come off as ferocious to people that come to your porch. Just be ready for it.
Those are simply the most beautiful animals I've ever seen! Their colour pattern in majestic!
