  • It's time for a tool review! I've been huntng for the GREATEST ratchet. Call it a mid-life crisis. Craftsman, Kobalt, Matco, Snapon, ICON. I've tried them. Is Stahwille making the best ratchet? I Just bought their 1/4" and 3/8" ratchets, so we'll see how they stack up!
    Want one? Here's a link-
3/8 Flex Head Ratchet (12-ish inches):

You should’ve tried the gear wrench 120 locking flex ratchet I have over 50 ratchets mac snap off bla bla and it’s really nice.

It's on my list, BUT no comfort grip in that one that I saw with the other features.

@@HomesteadBandwagon The 120 xp has a comfort grip 81321 is the part number best ratchet I have used.

@keysautorepair6038 I'll check it out. I think I abandoned it in my cart because it doesn't have a release button for the socket holder. The gear wrench ratchets that DO have that release don't have a comfor grip, from what I can tell. These lil hands are sensitive!

    You should try Koken ratchets

On the list, although from some stuff I saw they seemed a little less heavy duty than some others. Have you expeeienced that?

I was looking for this comment, koken z-series ratchets are very premium and has so little back drag it became my favorite, they can also take a beating in a professional environment. Nepros are also very good. Both expensive but worth every penny. Love my koken and nepros

@@HomesteadBandwagon It's not a decision. They broke under very little pressure. I like my Koken ratchets but they are not strong and the warranty sucks.

@@brannedkoken was stronger than many others at 260 ft/lb for 3/8”. Stalwille had one of the best swing arcs and performed well for a quick release. Their locking mechanism is great and low profile. You must have watched a different video than me

I don't want the lock function, at least a way to have it free moving flex. I have the Snap-On long handle straight and bent handle ratchets, have decades of use on them. Also the long handle 1/4 " flex ratchet. All I need.
