Hello, I worked with you a couple years ago as a cps worker. I dropped three kiddos to you. And just wanted to say that I always thought you cared a lot and made an effort to connect with them
I’m glad you’re still going to keep your foster care license. I’m sorry it’s been tough for you lately with life transitions. The kids are getting so big. I’m not around too much with my own foster household. I think I can guess where John is and I’m sorry. You’re amazing at putting yourself out there to help other foster parents. Keep up the great work!
@@erikarossman174she’s made the switch in recent videos from “we’re fostering” to “I’m fostering”.. there are conclusions you could jump to about if they’re still together but I think it’s also good to give them their space until they are comfortable talking about it publically
I’d love to hear from a newly graduated newly employed social worker, then a social worker who has been in the business for 20+ years. I can imagine the difference… hope, joy, etc…to ‘just getting through the day’
I’d love if you can talk about what steps you take for safety for your young kids while there are foster kids in the home, especially while they’re new and you’re still getting to know them.
I would love to hear from a social worker at CPS who is active with foster youth in the first moments of care! Another great one would be someone who works at a group home for teens! I’d love to hear about changes they want to see!
As a social work student (in Canada, so it's not the same system, but still), I think it would be helpful to learn what a case worker has to share. Or a primary parent if you know any who would feel comfortable sharing (no pressure, though!). And, as always, I'd love updates on Ariana (weird not to call her Miss A lol) when there are updates that she feels comfortable sharing (again, no pressure! But she did make her way into many of our hearts and we are cheering her on always).
I think many have misconceptions as to what fostering can be to those receiving care. they are still kids and aren’t perfect and are going thru a lot and often don’t have the greatest foundation of skills coming into care. It can cause harm by people wanting to foster thinking the kids will just be grateful etc.
And now I'm 38 so thank you for everything that you do foster kids I know personally for myself. I was in a foster homes so thank you for everything that you do for kids who are in those kind of situations
I've been watched you guys in a long time she's gotten so big. Thank you for everything that you do for for the kids I myself and my former child in New York City.

@@devinpierce2784 exactly…..she’ll tell us when she’s ready.
He’s been pretty much scrubbed from her IG account, save for a post, or two.
Where are the clues? I haven't kept up to date. I was shocked when she said "I" instead of "we." But I have no guesses to where John would go.

Darcy is so big!! she's a whole person now!

I appreciate the fact that you're taking time for yourself. Everyone needs and deserves that.
Thanks for sharing Whitney. I can only guess where John isn't.
Take care of yourself and your kids as long as you need.

Would love to hear the perspective of former foster youth (now adults, obviously!).
You should totally be on the crazy pieces podcast!!! Crystal and Aaron have several good points on fostering/adopting. I love their channel
I really appreciate your videos. They are helping me gather ideas for our fostering journey 🙏
I’d love to hear from a case manager, primary parent, and Laura the foster parent partner
Love your mother daughter relationship so cute.
Will you still tell us what happened with the three siblings when you’re ready?
Would be interesting to hear from CPS worker. Also maybe collab with “Laura - Foster Parent Partner”!!
