I have stories upon stories and some of them aren’t people just being straight out racist but they are being racist without realizing it! I currently live an hour from Wilmington, NC. It's so crazy how you can drive down one street and see abandoned homes and vacant lots. Then, down the road, you can see million dollar homes. Our African American ancestors have been subjected to violence and endured unimaginable amounts of cruelty.

    George Henry White was in my family and I did research on these events to find that our govt local and federal, failed us in the worst way. The first time the Gatling gun was used was at that insurrection and overthrow, where they called in the national guard to exterminate blacks in Wilmington. This same year GH White introduced the very first anti-lynching bill to the congress, which fell on deaf ears. Two other points of note are, 1) the Gatling gun was used on the blacks in Tulsa, OK massacre, 2) the National Guard locations are typically situated in black communities and I believe what happened in Wilmington is the reason why!

    • @J-Hue
      @J-Hue 4 месяца назад

      One thing I would say is, the government didn't fail us. To say that's to imply that they fell short of their goal. Since sabotaging/destroying our progress was and still is the goal, they succeeded.

      Because at that time, we had a chance to make Black Wallstreet, and towns like this again, if they would have just left us alone. We are born of perseverance, grit and determination, and that's why they hate us. We could see the light at the end of the tunnel, but they play gatekeeper. Even Martin said, he felt like he marched us into a burning house. Keep ya head up, and stay prayed 🙏 up...

The hatred and lies my ancestors have endured has been minimized and eliminated to perpetuate a narrative that promotes the falsehood that all men are created equal. Thank you for this thoroughly researched event that unfortunately puts a spotlight on the events that have added to the continued ugliness that exists while living in the so called United States of America.

    This is a conspiracy on steroids, prevent Black wealth, & there are those not us carrying out this plot.
    I'm talking about looking white on paper & turning up Black at a property closing, cashing a large check, financing an automobile, buying insurance on a desirable residential address, hired via phone interview for a job opening and denyed upon arrival, attacked on a NJ commuter bus because you entered at a prestigious locale, attacked at a supermarket by a mom & daughter team because you're driving a luxury auto, have 2 police walk into your home to threaten the primary age children to ensure the parents don't vote, closing the voting polls or terminating voting pools in largely democratic districts in NJ.

Since they tried to strip us of our entire identity. Then we re-settle elsewhere and we have the audacity to THRIVE! My grandmother use to say...let them think you're doing as well or better than them ... they'll be sniffing around soon just like dogs. They want everything. I didn't understand it as a kid but I absolutely understand it now. Another great story.

    And the world wonders why so many of us appear to not care when inherently we truly do. We have most and militia members that have been activated time and time again against my people yet still we show love. Not out of fear but out of what we know to be true. Life is important and special. We allow god to fight our insect battles ensuring that only the guilty will be punished. We aren’t our ancestors or grandparents. We will fight til all against us are destroyed. We simply learned better methods when fighting a truly cunning and deceitful enemy.

    I'm in Cincinnati Ohio right now. My family moved in in 1997 , that fall the KKK had a police protected protest downtown. We lived in the west end, a low income black neighborhood with high crime and no career level employment. Today the Wet end has been gentrified and the crime has greatly decreased and many new establishments have been set up there. They do this at will in our faces.

    I first came across this about 5 years ago...wha' really shook me to my core won't just how many whites that actually Knew about it, but the effort to either keep quiet or dismss it entirely...
    This is where reparations are more than deservin', not only by the state but also the federal government b/c both played a part...wha's sickenin' is the push back and asinine arguments to justify the push back...
    For example: the government will tax everyone to balance wha' was paid out in reparations...my question is why would You allow Your government to do such a thin'???many like to argue that noone alive today played a part in any of those atrocities so why should they pay for the damages...my counter argument to that statement is noone alive today played a part in writin' the constitution but willin' to fight for the benefits of it today...but here's the issue, the state and federal government should pay the bill WIT'OUT passin' the burden on the ppl...which has me convinced that there's more to the push back, somethin' a lot deeper...

      They tanked the system, by putting in it in insurmountable debt,to make slaves of everyone, and then through the welfare state, no one owns not. The the budget was in the black, reparations wouldn't be a problem, but at this point they don't want anyone to prosper, at this point it's beyond race, it's about control and domination and people had better open their eyes to that. 🙏

    I worked 2 years at a state park and was terrorized by the site of a hanging on 7-2-23. I went to work early am and there hung a set of park ranger clothes having from the ceiling. This happened again on 7-9-23. On 5-28-23 I was road raged at this state park. I’m 57 and thought I would work this job up to retirement because I worked in healthcare from 1987 up to 2021. I was tired of the racist hateful people in the health care system. What made me seek a career change was when I works in an adult daycare center and this person lifted her bangs and showed me a horn growing out of her forehead. This person also did bible study almost everyday. That really shook me seeing that and knowing how that person was. So when this happened with the hanging scenes it crippled me. This is my kritonite seeing clothes hanging from a ceiling or anywhere made to lol like a dead person. My satisfaction on 7-2-23 was seeing a person go to the basement that I had just went in and come immediately back up the steps and head for the door looking low pale than when he went down.
