A killer track from a killer album-Thunder in the East was the first Loudness record I picked up in the 80s but certainly not the last. These guys were awesome live, too, saw them open for Stryper and they were outstanding.
Saw them open for Mötley Crüe on the Theater Of Pain tour!! I was hangin on the wall the entire show. The bass player handed me a red solo cup of beer. Never forget that show, they kicked ass!!
For me Loudness is the one of greatest metal band, it is on the top together with Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Accept, Savatage, W.A.S.P., Running Wild, Twisted Sister and other giants. Real classic in history of heavy-metal. I proud that this band is from Japan
Yes, I came to this video just to say that XD Especially his voice from albums Virgin Killer and Taken by Force where I think he displayed his most powerful performances ever.
So many times, I've been lost And blinded by the light Caught up in a maze Now I feel just like a wolf Who forgot how to fight And frozen by the haze I was a hungry mean beast I'll never be satisfied Always looking for the next feast Wailing for the next ride * Like hell, I'm gonna do it like hell Like hell, I'm gonna rock you like hell Like hell, I'm comin' at you like hell Like hell, I'm gonna shock you like hell Just one more sip to ease my thirst Another for the fire That's all I need The time has come to break the spell Or give in to desire There ain't no in between No, I won't stay and take it Get caught up, standing still Looking for a day to shake it Looking for the kill * Repeat No more hiding in the shadows Runnin' from the light No more cryin' when the wind blows Howling at the night
Just one more sip to ease my thirst Another for the fire that's all that I need The time has come to break the spell Or give in to desire there ain't no in between..
A lot of American bands from this period could have learned a lot from these guys. 1985 was the beginning of the end of good Metal for the most part with the onslaught of ridiculous bands like Poison, not to mention Judas Priest releasing the dreadful "Turbo Lover", which broke my heart.
@MetalHeart8787 :( :( WASP was a great band! whatever shit they might have gone thru later, they burst onto the 80s metal scene with some seriously. good. songs. well i respect your opinion, but i personally think they were one of the best bands to personify the 80s heavy metal sound, & do it real well.
@dmreeoogdaq Yeah but then you got good stuff from iron Maiden, some good Dio stuff, Savatage, Iced Earth started up, A little band called Metallica released Master of Puppets, Megadeth kicked it off as well...
@rezoorose what!? LOudness didn't do any of the stupid shit wasp did. I like wasp BUT more people compared Loudness to Motley crue. either way they were a Great Band & still around.
I dont know why but i dont like those new albums with Niihara , old ones where better also Masaki Yamada was awesome i think i liked him even more than Niihara
Really? Sounds like Iron Maiden. It is obvious to me you know not what you say. It's ok to not really know a certain band or genre of music. But please, if that is the case as it is painfully obvious, don't compare things you know nothing about. Just because 2 different bands are in the same Heavy Metal category does not mean they sound the same! Sheeeesh!
今聴いても色褪せること無くかっこいい。。。。。。やっぱこの曲を含むThunder In The Eastは名盤ですねぇ!
one of the great bands and music ever!thanx for sharing!!
LOUDNESS RULES!!!! Whatta great band, and this video is GREAT!

The time has come to break the spell
Or give in to desire
There ain't no in between
No, I won't stay and take it
Get caught up, standing still
Looking for a day to shake it
Looking for the kill
* Repeat
No more hiding in the shadows
Runnin' from the light
No more cryin' when the wind blows
Howling at the night

Akira and Munetaka are just way cool.
Like Hell has to be the best metal song of all time.
Their albums are just great! I also like Vescera on the vocals, but Niihara makes it unique!
Samurai Metal
2:00 the Greatest Hard Rock band of All Time... as Minoru said; there ain't no in between
FURAN does a great cover of this!
One of the greatest metal bands of all time. Akira Takasaki has the same power of Eddie Van Halen and the same attack of Jake E Lee.
@CpMKrunk very cool and so is your dad. I hope my kid turns out like you!
this guitar player will nevwer get enough credit,.what a fucking badazz he was!

@dmreeoogdaq Yeah but then you got good stuff from iron Maiden, some good Dio stuff, Savatage, Iced Earth started up, A little band called Metallica released Master of Puppets, Megadeth kicked it off as well...
@MetalHeart8787 Aha.........

@dmreeoogdaq turbo lover is a cool song... but painkiller pawns all
@rezoorose what!? LOudness didn't do any of the stupid shit wasp did.
I like wasp BUT more people compared Loudness to Motley crue.
either way they were a Great Band & still around.
Como alguém coloca um clipe com áudio todo cagado pqp
@dmreeoogdaq I actually liked turbo...painkiller was horrible though.
I dont know why but i dont like those new albums with Niihara , old ones where better also Masaki Yamada was awesome i think i liked him even more than Niihara
@sebaswildboy Lol... No. This is fucking awesome, but the BEST metal is from the UK.
for a second i thought the lead singer was a girl ( never heard this band before) with all the lip stick and stuff...
Really? Sounds like Iron Maiden. It is obvious to me you know not what you say. It's ok to not really know a certain band or genre of music. @TaylorGilmour By Far and guitarist as well. Akira Takasaki was better than all of them.
