Thoughtful and thought-provoking video as usual, although I think there's a better explanation than you gave at 12:50, about what happens when price returns to the short and long positions' entries from the locked-in range. When price has moved up from the LR (locked-in range / box), longs are not trapped, and so are freely taking profit and reducing their positions. When price returns to the LR, the majority of the remaining longs that neglected to take profit will want to exit at breakeven, to avoid a loss, but their fewer numbers (and, thus, lower volume) will have less influence on price. Many of the shorts in the LR will exit (buy), to avoid a loss, just like the longs - it's these that have the most impact on price rallying up again.

Just to add : OI can increase because of shorts too. It's tracking open positions not only open longs. what could be cool is : open interest and number of longs/shorts at each level (quantower do it but I think trdr do it too). because OI and price could increase (so everything is ok) and at the top, longs stop to buy and if "bears" start to open shorts at the top, OI is going to increase and you would not know if it's because of traders going long at the top or shorters entering the market.
