Excellent video! Short and to the point with all the necessary step by step info. I put a set of factory lights in this morning. It took me about 45 mins. Biggest issue was being on the concrete and the minimal room to tighten screws with a ratchet, but I got ‘er done! Thanks bro.
Here in Canada ALL trim level of Titans came with a DRL (day time running lamp) installed where the fog light goes and the chrome trim bezel. When I got my Titan new off the lot in 2016 (2017 model SV) I wanted fog lamps like the SL and higher trim levels have so I had the dealer order the lamps and switch. Its pretty cool its two bulbs in the same housing one for DRL and one for fog obviously. With running lights/headlights off the DRL`s are on and switching to headlight mode the DRL`s turn off and fogs come on. To go a step further I made my own adapter to adapt from the factory DRL bulb plug to convert it to a 194 style bulb socket. I put an amber LED in there and I have amber DRL`s.
@@mbarreto8133 I just got mine, under $300 at a dealer, but nissan has sold them on their site for under $200 shipped, I bought mine online from a dealer in FL for about the same.
Looks great. You made it look easy, thanks for making this video. We are about to buy the exact same truck to tighten SV and it doesn’t have the fog lights the kids that I saw online were about $ 150. Thanks to you I’ll be installing our set.
Bought a nice fog light kit on Amazon and it came with a wiring harness & switch. My 2006 Nissan Titan SE came pre-wired for fog lamps. I purchased the turn signal switch that includes the fog lamp component. Everything is installed but the fog lights do not come on. Any suggestions on why they do not work?
It’s held in with clips so yeah screw drive and with cloth so you don’t scratch anything and pop it out. You don’t have to go on one side. You can also try to push the cover out from the back if you have room.
Nice video, no b******* just what we're looking for, thank you. Kind of hard to tell in the video whether or not the lights are bright enough to be worth money and time, whats your opinion on it?
It makes a difference at night when you driving through areas without street lights. I like it, but there not LED’s and they are not super bright. It does make the truck look different with them on as well.
Benny Chiang order from amazon, it’s cheaper. But you’ll have to order the factory switch because the one from amazon doesn’t come with it. www.amazon.com/Lights-Nissan-Titan-Wiring-Harness/dp/B07527ZKXY www.nissanraceshopoemparts.com/oem-parts/nissan-fog-lamp-switch-253701pa0a
@@joedevito9459 thank you for the links i ordered my lights through amazon figured today would be perfect to install since we are all on lockdown... and bam ! cannot finish install since my kit i ordered had different switch also
Patrick Wong no problem. The second link I posted in my original reply to you, is for the oem switch. If you order that, it’s 100%plug and play. I’ll post it again. www.nissanraceshopoemparts.com/oem-parts/nissan-fog-lamp-switch-253701pa0a
If your referring to the fog light cover. It’s held in by clips so a flat head screwdriver with a cloth over it to prevent any scratches and pop it right out.

The Titans does have pre-install wire for the fog lights. It can be seen if you remove the fog light cover or looking under the truck.
Shazam A how much did they charge you for the light kit

Your welcome.
For the pre-installed harness connector. The original lamps that came with the kit, did they direct fit the OEM harness connector?
Thanks for the video, getting this done to my XD SV soon.
Yes it a direct fit no modification needed for the wires. This is for the OEM kit.
Thanks for the video

Looks like you can get LED bulb replacement for about 12 bucks, might give you a little bit more light
do you happen to know the part number for the fog light switch
The part number is at the beginning of the video.
Can you recommend a good place to order the kit from? Great vid, thanks!

Great video. How much did the kit cost from Nissan?
$200+

I went through factorynissanparts.net, but you can get it from any Nissan dealer. No auto parts store will carry these lights. Good luck.
Amazon has them for $90.00 with the whole kit the dealer sells the same thing for $200.00 you decide
