I bless the moment i discovered this Show! (capital letter) The only episode i did not like was the m. rourke one, out side of that, EVERY episode made me laugh, with every fibre of my being. Thank you Graham for the laughs :) I wish to see many decades more of the Show

With all of these “simple eyes” you can't focus on a single object like humans do. Instead, you see the world as a kind of mosaic. A drunk mosaic. Takes the Australian term of being "maggoted" (drunk, for those of you without Google) to a whole, new level.
My Irish Granny could trap a fly every time, drunk as she was. One eye crinkled against the burning Rothman in her mouth, she would hold the pack in the hand behind it. As it focused on the zillions of wee hands heading its way in front she'd smash it from the rear (yes, yes I did) with the crush-proof box. Good times.
@@luxeford547 Ah, blame the sub mid strength beer, my pet A Guinness will not only hide the little bugger in the dark abyss, but the unflagging flavour will cover any post mortal releases of said late fly. I'd not be so sure of say, a Lite beer. Then again, either beer can leave one gacking and backing up like a cat, should the dearly departed happen to catch the top, back of the throat. You know, like a short, curly hair. Cheers.
What clips like this attest to, more than anything, is how uninteresting, unentertaining people are, regardless of level of fame. Take away comedians, with material that they're scavenging from, and these shows are utterly empty, even of froth.
No other talk show has as many classic moments as The Graham Norton Show.
Because they don't have publicists dictating everything they say and can get drunk during the show.

I love that the Chris O'Dowd drinking the flying was so funny and memorable that Steve Carell even told the story on another chat show in America
