@Drake Lang Believe me, I've seen it. Season 2 was especially excellent. It's a 10/10 show in it's own right, but iy feels so adolescent in comparison to Six Feet Under's achievements.
So true. I was lucky enough to purchase the entires series in a boxed DVD set, which has me watching them many times over. And each time, there is still more new things to see and learn from that you never saw before. It is so very profound. It is humbling. It is regret - while it is pride . It is love. It is forgiveness. It is light and dark. It is the soul awakening. It is calm while at the same time it is chaos. It is change. It is beauty. It is raw. It is beginning and it is end. It is Grace. It is food for the soul.
If that's a baby, then that's the oldest 1-year old I've seen in my life David is not just picturing things here, he's remembering. And had he been a baby at the time, he wouldn't remember anything
I cried so hard today watching this. I lost my baby brother three months ago and just know I’d be comforting him the day we have to bury our mother. Now I don’t have him and this video just reminded me of him. Miss you bro
This scene makes you really appreciate Brenda. She's scaringly smart and charismatic, and this is one of the cases in which she shows it to Nate, David, and to the audience watching this sublime and once in a lifetime show. By far the best character on the show along with Claire. 2 of the most complex women in television, hands down.
i'm picturing this comment beneath the scene of her get double teamed by two random skaters and it makes me laugh. she wasn't complex, she was selfish, driven by impulse like most people, with self-destructive tendencies.
I actually have things I liked and things I didn't like about every character. They were all interesting to me and they all taught me a lot about life.
Brenda makes me wildly uncomfortable. This moment of hers is weirdly manipulative and controlling and almost sociopathic. Thinking it's got the best and sweet to get these brothers into the bus that killed their dad without asking for their consent first?
Six feet under has produced the life manual on what matters and what does not. It makes you realise that you breathe, you have a soul and what living is, which theoretically is an impossible job.
In 2014 the intersection of Sunset and Gordon became the location of Emerson College in Hollywood. The international design firm Morphosis, headed by architect Thom Mayne, designed a signature 10-story building incorporating residential, teaching and administrative spaces.
David has to always be the one who is practical, responsible, and reasonable. There are hundreds of millions of Davids all across the world. Some of them are male, some of them are female. Some are trans, bisexual, lesbian, gay... They keep the world functioning, and a little safer. Next time you feel like going mental on one, stop yourself, and show a little compassion and respect. They rarely get the respect they deserve. And they are always this close to falling apart into a million pieces.
When I watch this scene I also think of the one much later when David wakes up on a rainy morning and has a profound conversation with his father standing just outside on the terrace. What is the point of being alive? Watch the ending of that episode. Title: Six Feet Under 4x12 ending David meets his dead Dad
andrew chambers The bus is the one that hit and killed their father. I’ll one up you. I’ve seen this series several times and I don’t even remember this scene!!
The bus that killed Nathaniel Sr., which sent everyone’s lives into a spiral they couldn’t foresee…left to pick up the pieces little by little…I’ve seen many shows, but this might be the best series I’ve ever watched. And when you lose a parent, it changes you, forever…it’s hard to explain…
There's never going to be anything like Six Feet Under, ever again.
The Leftovers. Just watch it.
@@bboynava1812 Not even close.
@Drake Lang I have. I do love it, but frankly, most thinks a a joke compared to Six Feet Under.

The ending scene is just incredibly emotional. Just seeing his Dad with him as a baby, along with that music, really hits you hard in the chest.

Unbelievably moving.
An astonishing series that's never to be forgotten.

David comes across so emotionless & cold, Brenda opens him to grief, this was one of the best but saddest scenes from this series

Meet me at the corner of Sunset an Gorden. Now, it's important.
The best programme ever made.

@chopin65 I'm gay just like David is. He hasn't proessed his dad's death yet that's why Brenda did it
I watched this on the night it aired. This is the very scene that won me over to this brilliantly fucked up masterpiece of a show.
This is the best scene in the entire series. Writers now only dream of creating this type of drama.

It's the bus that crashed into their fathers car and killed him.

It's an unreleased piece of music. You should be able to find it if you type in "Six Feet Under - Score."
