It's not just with coding... It's anywhere in IT... I absolutely hate it

Could you make a full video on how to contribute to any of the projects?

Thank you so much for showing this! I have been excited and intimidated to start contributing to open-source projects. And seeing you demonstrate how easy it is to get started, has motivated me!

Actually they mean job experience, internship not included. They're not planning to hire they have people for the post but it needs to be public first for legal reasons. Shoot your shot anyway, disregard what they're asking for.

Not necessarily. In my region, if they mean paid experience they specify that you need to list your "paid experience".

Also apply for a bit bigger companies, they have more resources to train people than sub-100 people firms.

the job markets and financial markets have semi collapsed especially after university. it goes to like a fees and or hiring restrictions which has something to do with international laws. they prefer you to already have the job and or make the job yourself and arrange your own money for your own expenses excluding whats been provided.

Can someone make a video on how to lie about past experience in an easily checkable world? I justify this by the fact that "We value willingness to learn over experience" is a blatant lie hirers frequently make

So do you tell them how much experience you have ?

3 olders aren't just coming and exploding with their inner force to armored vehicles. Everytime it's like, yeah okey it's you, but we will find somebody else in this age group.

Just lie. If you're a quick learner and have a background in computer science; than just lie and say you know it.
Github contributions isn't experience; it's feather in the cap of their portfolio hiring managers MIGHT look at.

I mean you can say the same thing about building personal projects, but both are still good to do because you learn, and can point to stuff you've made and say "Yes I've made x-thing that uses y-design pattern" or whatever

its 100% nepotism with every single position. actually chasing some requirements based on what ppl say online is a joke
