May be Mr.Gibson is lying (admired Science is series of lie) but he is actually laying solid foundations for big discoveries in future by students who are blessed to watch his lectures today. Mr. Jason Gibson deserves to be a great teacher of all time. Thank you very much!

as soon as you said " I really hope you prove me wrong". I just wished every teacher i met in my life were as open minded as you. truly great explanation of the subject matter...pun intended.

Excellent and fascinating account of the discovery of atomic structure - much more detail than I've ever seen before. It's one thing looking back on this sort of scientific discovery but what amazes me is the insight, the ability to ask the right questions and the guts to be wrong etc. which all these groundbreaking scientists had. No answers at the back of the book for these people.

Thank you so much - I dropped out of school ten years ago becasue I failed chemistry 2 times and discouraged to finish. I’m now attempting to retake and complete the class and you’re videos uploaded as soon as the semester started and you’re literally helping me retain the information 😫😫 I get confused on all the math and equations I don’t know how to interpret which action to take in word problems but your helping me a lot. I spam these chemistry sections throughout the day

Man I appreciate your honesty and your determination. Please don’t give up, if you’re 10 years out of high school you’re somewhere in your 20s and I know you might feel old but trust me you’re still young so just keep at it take it one step at a time and you could still learn the stuff and excel. I promise you I was one of those people that didn’t understand it either but what you have to do is go back to your basics which is what you’re doing and watch my lessons which is also what you’re doing but you need to get your pencil out and solve problems after you see me solve them then you will get the confidence you need to continue. So definitely continue but make sure you solve problems even if they’re the same problems that you just saw me solve.

I’m at an ultimatum I don’t want to fail 😓 a lot is riding on this attempt for personal reasons- my family is rooting for me and I can’t disappoint and myself is the person I mostly don’t want to let down for the first time in my life I actually feel confident to redo this - failing this class has haunted me all my life it’s what’s been preventing me to breakthrough the boundaries and actually finish pursuing my first degree. I just purchased a big periodic table for the house to introduce everything you’re teaching me to my parents and they are learning too it’s so crazy how this technology can connect us- I wish I had this resource 10 years ago - I just have so many emotions about passing this class I know I can do it this time with your help I hope it’s okay if I keep in touch with my progress on this thread you’re such an amazing teacher and your speech is so intuitive and easy for me to understand . Ty ty ty again I hope to speak to you soon professor !!

Are we sure that electrons is it completely negatively charged?
And what if it was negatively charged 90% and 10% positively , this one wouldn't it explain why the electron doesn't fall into the nucleus?

Neutron stability in the nucleus is very well explained by the standard model.

    • @albertperson4013

@@MathAndScience A particle that lasts 15 minutes is irrelevant. New theories are coming. Neutrons are actually proton-electron pairs in the nucleus. The standard model is very broken.

Just like we humans are the product of the environment both physically and mentally... Every micro and macro substances are too the product of the environment...!!!???
That environment : depends on the resources, availability etc... Just like the number gives structure and structure gives size, functions and Identity for an atom or a molecule or any species living and non living...!!!???
All are questions with points infused for consideration... from the Student ...!!!
    THANK YOU... SIR...!!!

    THANK YOU... SIR...!!!
(Because only the particles hold the charges...!!!
In the wave form... only the energy field remains... and the field energy and energy of the nucleus are in different proportions...!!!
Also the nature conseves energy and momentum by keeping everything in equilibrium including the surrounding environment, even of an atom's...!!!
Those energy fields are connected to the vast realms of other energy fields ...!!!
ISN'T IT... the reason... why the electrons do not smash into the nucleus )...!!!???
May be the pairing and coupling nature of the electron also contributes to it...!!!
    May be I am wrong...!
    THANKS AGAIN...!!!
