Bloom - Digitone & Eurorack Ambient recorded to Cassette

- This track was originally composed for a live set but I liked it so much that I recorded a reworked version of it to cassette. The Elektron Digitone is playing four internal tracks and sequencing the modular system which is routed through the K-Mix and then into Digitone to add delay and reverb. The video goes in and out of sync due to tape warble, nothing I can do about that.

All of your vidz are so nice I often forget to like. I just get sucked into my thoughts.
You have a real touch with repetition. Your jams always have a pleasant, hypnotic effect. And I blame you for my recent purchase of a PMD 430. :)
Thank you! That hypnotic effect is how I measure if a track works. If I get tired of the repetition, I have to rework it. Also: Sorry for costing you money :)
I aim to make my life to live thru this life as serene and tranquil and guided along the path by the twinkling fm chimes. It's always a pleasure. Thank you.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ❤
Beautiful sounds! Got my hands on the Digitone recently, and am in heaven :) Love seeing it played along the modular like this. Good stuff!
Thank you! It‘s a fantastic combo.
Wunderbar entspannend, wie ein sanfter gurgelnder Bach, gute Luft und Ruhe. 🎧🎛🤗
Perfect! Soft like a silk. Pure and elegant.

koetjesreep79 koetjesreep79 Thank you so much. I appreciate the support very much. This song will not be on itunes, sorry. A live version of it was once a bonus track for a tape, so I did not want to release it on another album.
It looks like all your tape has unraveled out the cassette.
Peace ✌️ out 🌍
Super nice. Smooth. What MIDI to CV module do you use in your eurorack rig?
Chris Otchy Thanks. I used a Monome Ansible in midi mode.
Beauty...the tape recorder is doing the rhythmic 1/4 notes echo correct?
No, the tape recorder is simply recording the music. Digitone provides Delay.
Beautiful track.
For your cassette releases, do you first record to cassette then transfer to digital for mastering, and then finally transfer that master to tape during duplication stage. Or do you skip the first step and record straight to digital? Thanks.
P Godaz Thanks. I record straight to tape. Then record the tape into the computer and send the file to the mastering engineer. But only for my releases. This track I treated myself a bit and then simply uploaded it here.
Hi, is there an advantage to record to tape first instead of recording directly on a computer ? (regarding the mastering)

Serious question. Is the eurorack patch above what we're actually hearing? Or are some of those cables patched for visual fun?
It's what you're hearing.
@@JoggingHouse Thanks for a reply to what could be interpreted as a troll question :) Now excuse me as I stare deeply into the paused frame to try and figure out everything going on.
I am asking myself.. Why cassette tape recording..? Have i missed something..? 😊
robu robu Just because I enjoy it and it is simple fun.
Gut wie sich deine Musik geändert hat.
mister soulhund hund Danke :)
Is this a release?
Hey, what's that separate modular box? A passive mixer maybe?
Fedor T That is just a cardboard box with two passive modular-to-line-level converters and a passive attenuator.
