Clive LLoyd was one of The Most Powerful, Belligerent & Big Match Player of The History. His over all career average is 46.7 but as Captain he batted with average 52 which shows under pressure he was more Dangerous. Also his solitary ODI Century came in The Occasion of World Cup 1975 Final. Apart from his super Captaincy He is one of The All Time Great Batsman.
I see his test career strike rate is 100 in internet. Is it misleading due to balls faced not available or some other reason. Or it is true? If it's then he is more aggressive than Viv?
@@princenarayana If not more than Viv but also not less aggressive than Viv. Like he smashed 102 Runs on 85 Balls in World Cup Final 1975. Also his Test St..Rate is almost 60 which is unusual in that era. Viv Career Test St-Rate is 68.
@@stephenmcloughlin7718 Not at all Sir. In WSC Super Test Clive LLoyd made 683 Runs with an average of 37.94 which is better than many Very Good Players Ian Chappell(35.72) Gordon Greenidge (35.9), Roy Frediricks (34.9), Zaheer Abbas (30.57), Asif Iqbal (26.12), Javed Miandad (29.66), Majid Khan (33.66). In WSC only 3 Plyaers Greg Chappell, Vivian Richards & Barry Richards scored over 50 Plus Average.
Clive Lloyad,Viv Richards, Gordon Greenidge, Desmond Haynes and Allwyn Kalicharan were my all time favourite batsmen I am also a big admirer of Andy Roberts, Michael Holding, Malcolm Marshall,Joel Garner, Courtney Walsh and Curtly Ambrose
Clive Lloyd is best batsman against fast bowler. But his batting skills always be overlooked because of his captaincy

Think his average in world series cricket was in the 30s though.

This isn't World Series Cricket; this is an official ODI from a World Series Cup match in the early 80s.
Legendary batsman
Clive Lloyd best batsman ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes when he went down on one knee and would smack them into the boundry
Clive Lloyd. Great batsman great captain..and probably the most influential individual in west indies cricket history.
This is not WSC series. This is a match from 80s. Bacchus, Dujon, Clarke never played in WSC.
These Australians learned it the hard way...arrogance never pays....💜 West Indies
He always hammered dennis lillee
Nice footage but not World series and not really much focus on Lloyd either.
Which year was this match?
the score is not so great...
Welcome to the 80s!
But so much better than there West Indies in 2022
