Your hair looks shiny and healthy , would you please make a hair care routine ?
To all those saying their hair gets stuck, make sure that firstly, your hair is Combes out and smooth, secondly that it should be quite straight and dry - the wetter it is the more likely it is to get tangled, try not to wrap it too tightly and make sure to pull it out you don't try to 'unroll' it but pull it away, holding your hair near the roots of you need to. Hope this helps!
+Marie M (MariaMauva) are you sure?????
also buying good brushes helps a ton
thanks a lot
Yeah I tried This it made it worse :/
Reasons your hair may get stuck:
1. Your hair isnt completely dry.
2. Half your hair is curled out of the comb so everything becomes a mess when you try to take it out (if that makes sense).
What you can do to remove your hair from the tangled mess without much damage:
1. Spray your hair wet-the part that's stuck in the comb.
2. Squirt some conditioner into the hair that's stuck and try to rub it in.
3. Then slowly try to take out your hair.
You'll find it easier and it wont do much damage to your hair.
OR what you guys can do is to use a medium sized round hairbrush. This will help to straighten your roots AND curl your ends. No need for a small or large round hair brush. Minimal tangling. This has been tried-and-tested on my own hair a dozen times (I have natural "S" shaped curls and coil-like curls) So, here's how you do it....
1) Brush through the section of hair first to detangle your hair before you start blow drying. THIS IS IMPORTANT.
2) Wrap your hair around the hairbrush. I know this sounds like it will turn into a tangled mess, but trust me, it won't, as you've already detangled it beforehand, and the size of the hairbrush is just right for brushing through hair.
3) Bring the hairbrush with your wrapped up hair AWAY from your shoulders (usually i do it to the side of my shoulders). THIS IS ESSENTIAL as the angle at which you've held your wrapped up hair will create the curls. If you ignore this one, your hair will probably just create a small 'curve' at the end of the hair.
4) Begin le blow drying processsss!
Tell me how it goes for you guys! Hopefully it works out well! :)
My hair got stuck in the brush
been there my friend :/
kelynnokay I
kelynnokay me too
kelynnokay you guys need a bigger brush ! Cus same lol
kelynn tan lol
I wish I read the comments before getting the brush stuck in my hair 😂😳
You're a lifesaver. This even works on curly hair c:
I tried this and it worked so well! I am normally super lazy about spending time on my hair but I found this really easy and it didn't take very long. My hair is notoriously flat, but this gave it great volume. Will definitely be doing this regularly! Thank you so much!
I tried it and it looks perfect thank you so much
MIMIIIIIIIIi i tried this and after a few times i did it properly ! i feel so much confident walking outside with beautiful bouncy hair
I love your bangs how to you cut them like that??? I've always wanted them like that
I've got long, quite layered hair and while I have a LOT of it, the strands are very fine. I literally HAVE to blowdry which makes it super straight...I'm going to try this and if it works you shall be my hero. Thanks so much for posting! No idea how I never thought of this, I even have the brush.
Your hands omg 😍😍 muscles everywhere
From all that hair styling
Welcome to Luxy Hair
How did your hair not get stuck in the brush?
I have been using a variation on this method for years - also borrowed from my stylist. I only use one round brush - maybe a 1-1/2" ceramic barrel. When i release the hair from the brush I twist it around and I find that that helps wave the hair a little further up the shaft. I agree that this method results in a longer lasting, bouncier, more natural looking wave & i always get tons of compliments when I do this.
Using the round brush without getting the chunk tangled is impossible for me.
I am in my 40's and have never been a "Girly Girl" but you are making me open my eyes of what I could do. Thank you ;)
I have pin straight hair and I'm confused by this. Her hair is already wavy...? Why go to all the trouble?
OMG! Mimi no one in the whole wide world can be prettier than you!
so if we naturally have straight hair we can skip the drying hair straight step basically
Soooo helpful for when school starts!!! And more natural looking then tight curls from a curling iron. Much faster too! Thanks for posting!!!!!!!!!!
Gorgeous hair! I can't use a round brush without getting stock in my hair!! Lol anyone that has tips please mssg me? :) thanks
Use ceramic brushes!! They grasp the hair a lot easier so when you're turning it around it doesn't get stuck! :)
Yeah NEVER use normal brushes, I lost a section of my hair thanks to making that mistake one time at the gym, went to an interview with the brush hidden with my hair because I could not get it out. It took two hours for four hairdressers to get it out. So yeah, MAKE SURE IT'S A CERAMIC!!! lol
AylaJoJo
use hair serum
AylaJoJo a boar bristle brush will give a better result than a ceramic brush any days there is no comparison however, for at home use, stick to ceramic or titanium. Boar is best reserved for those of us who know how to use them
Mimi I adore your beautifully original every-day hairstyles....you're like the solution to every girl's hair struggles! Keep up what you are doing its truely inspirational x
I obviously did something wrong because I got the round brush stuck in my hair and had to cut a big part of my hair off of my head.
I always love trying your hair tutorials out, you explain everything so well! Thank you for another awesome hair tutorial. :)
Kate Middleton hair :)
Hey Mimi! I got the extensions and loved them! Thank you
Where are you from? You have an amazing accent(:
Kailynn Ebert im from america haha thanks
These curls are really beautiful and i love how you can make this an everyday hairstyle (its not too fancy). Thanks for the tutorial! :) x
What if you don't have a rolling brush ???
Purchase one
Then buy one
I have been trying to figure out how to achieve nice loose curls/wave to my extremely frizzy curly/wavy hair without having to blow dry straight just to re-curl it so its loose like this. I can't wait to try this method out!
Curling iron is faster
Fantastic technique. I just recently started using argon oil in my hair after watching one of your tutorials and I LOVE the difference it makes. So thank you so much. Lee x
I have been using a round brush for YEARS. I'm no stranger to them. But I tried this technique and my hair got tangled so badly around the small brush that it had to be cut out of the brush 3 inches from my head. Thankfully, it was just one section on the under side so I can hide it. But I'm really disappointed with this tutorial. It ruined my hair a week before my wedding.
I had this problem when I was young. My hair dresser said it was because I have very fine hair so I should blow dry with a paddle brush. I don't think there was anything wrong with the tutorial because you can see it clearly worked... Maybe it's your hair type too.... Orrr you're twisting too much hair around. Mimi only put the hair around one turn!
Kristina Chandler the brush material, brush size in relation to your hair length, thickness, texture etc and your techniques are all factors, it's not the videos fault, it's your fault
Kristina Chandler you r right
The curls look amazing; and a great way to use one styling tool to create amazing curl
You look like Colleen Ballinger's older sister anyone agree?
I agree
+Arnelle Jackson MN Minneapolis
Vera she doesn't have an older sister
yeah but what i mean is she could pass as heer older sister hahaha
Ew no. Colleen is disgusting.
For you to be able to blow-dry your own hair like that...amazing!!
The brush is so stuck!!!
Awww...:) It warms my heart to hear that
WHY DONT YOU LIST THE NAMES OF THE BRUSHES!!!!???? How frustrating. No brush is the same and that has more to do with beautiful blow outs than the hair dryer
Karen all the brushes r the same
daniela gallegos what? Is she upstairs or something? Lol sorry
You don't get my playful sarcasm, do you?
daniela gallegos calm down
Someone's got their knickers in a twist
YOUR HAIR IS SO NICE AND PRETTY AND SHINY AND AMAZING AND SOFT AND FLUFFY!!!!!!
You talk too damn much
Sounds great! Will do! :)

It is beautiful!

Thank you my darling Daria
Hi mimi i love your channel so much and i cant wait to do this. And your natural hair is to die for!
At first I like your tutorials a lot :) I dont own any beauty blog or something. But the way I curl my hair without heat is very easy and you only have to wake-up and open up the curls, put some hairspray in. What I did is: I cut pieces of a cotton kitchen towel into pieces of 20cm by 2 cm about 30 of those. When your washed hair is almost dried you put some styling mousse in it, the one that works for your hair the best. Than you just separate your hair in layers to get more volume. Put them in the same way you did in this wave tutorial and bow it. (like almost the papillote style) You sleep with them in the morning after you've done your make-up you take them out, separate the curls the way you want them and put some hairspray in and your done. They last for whole day and next day they become wavy!
I absolutely love this hair style and the was you edit all of your videos!
Great tutorial. I'll be trying this as soon as I get the smallest brush. Thanks for sharing.

thats gorgeous! this is perfect tutorial for kate middleton hair!
I love it! it looks so natural
OK, so me again for the update of my wavy-blowdry-practicing, my previous normal brush (i bought from supermarket) didn't help me much and hair could easily get tangled. This time I ask the person in the hair salon I often go to help me buy the brush they use in the hair salon, I try this technique again and yes yes yes, the result is wonderful and it's not time-consuming as well. So guys, I must say investing in a proper brush is crucial if you want to do this at home.
I love all your tutorials! You always share great advice, techniques, and hairstyles but I wish I had the time to actually try all this out but I don't because I'm still in school and I'l be starting high school in September, after the Summer holidays, which is a real pain because that means I'll be even busier, sorting out all the uniform and equipment that I'll need! Anyways, love you like always and greetings from the UK! xxx
After I get done blowing out a section I rolls it with my fingers and pin it... I do this to my entire head and leave it for 15 minutes and get beautiful bouncy curls that last for days :-) your hair looks BEAUTIFUL as always :-)
Wow.... To get that with hair brushes! Thanks for posting this. I can't wait to try it!
Thsnkyou Luxy it was a really good hair blow lesson for a beginner. I absolutely believe with your help I managed to get there in the end. I could tell right away the difference a good quality brush makes. The big straightener brush was lovely but as soon as I went to a run of the mill medium brush my hair was stuck:-(. I'll go and buy another good brushx
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous! - Parmis
I cant wait to wear this to school. Its easy and looks like you spent so much time on it! great look xoxox
You are gorgeous Mimi such an inspiration for me ! Much love from Paris :)

wish i too read the comments before giving it a try.. !! the tutorial is great indeed. but fresh hands need to get to know the round brush well first. Had a narrow escape right before i cut that big chunk of hair.
