1. Don't brush your hair when it's dry. Towel dry your hair after washing it and then brush. The round brush is helpful 2. Don't feed alcohol to your hair 3. Put argon oil on hair and also use hair wax for strands at the top
Yeah same for me I think puberty does something to your hair because until I was 8 my hair straight and pretty and NOT FRIZZY. My mom tells me it in my jeans because she has curly frizzy hair (but she found products to have her hair down without a giant poof) and so was my grandmas and every other girl in our family. I can't wear my hair down cause I look like a lion with my blonde poofy hair and I have no clue what to do because my hair is curly and I HATE it.
HollyLolly samee! Everyones like *classmates* eww.. Wen was the lats time you brushed your hair..? Its soo messy! *me*- umm.. Today...... Cant you see? :/
I once cut in layers and the back of my hair was curly then I cut it straight and it looks Straight now. Then the problem ist that I have really thick hair. Cutting it straight made me have a BIG head😧😧😧😧😧😧
What I've got until now •Brush your hair before washing it •Don't wash it more than 2 times a week •Dry it with a tshirt instead of a towel and just dab it softly •Don't wash it with too hot water (you can rinse it with cold water at the end) •Use oils (argan, coconut, almond) •Let it naturally dry •Don't use heat on it •Don't brush it when it's wet •Check your shampoo and conditioner NO sulphates, silicones, drying alcohol. Should contain glycerin •Use hair masks once a week (leave for 30-60mins then rinse) 1 honey&coconut oil 2 brown sugar&olive oil 3 banana&honey&olive oil 4 yogurt&olive oil&vitamin e
Same... My parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts and even KIDS AT SCHOOL tell me i need to brush my hair..of course when i brush it, it gets all fluffy and it messy by the next day again. :(
i use mask every sunday for my hair. egg+castor oil+ coconut milk+ fresh cream+almond oil+ basil leaves+ clove oil + henna leaves + honey. blend this mixture well and apply leave it in my hair for say 2 hours and then rinse it off. the hair when dried of remains bit oily so I shampoo it using my regular shampoo. I dont condition it though because I think oil might make it already too much conditioned. after shampooing dry hair by brushing gently. apply bit argan oil. this works like miracle for me. I have had really bad hair but this mask helps my hair remain down for atleast a week. all the best
Sometimes I want to tell my hair that I will KILL it if it doesn't STOP MAKING A JUNGLE ON THE TOP OF MY HEAD!!!! Its stupid and gets in knots all the time
Sir bizzle The argan oil and blowing it out (yes guys do this) will help. I know the singer Marc Anthony has frizzy hair but his stylist uses products and blows it out.
+O2L's Minion you sound like you feel its some kind of shame? how bout straightening the bangs to full, ear or brow height? or using a large round brush (or large curlers) to make the curls larger/ looser?
next to my ears my hair is silky soft and straght i cant curl it even with heat...my back hair is so frizy and dry and i need 1 hour to straight it... o.O :X
Frizz is a curl waiting to happen. You don't have straight hair. You have wavy hair. Embrace it. It'll make your life so much easier. Search the Curly Girl Method. It's a life changer. I promise.
for the dandruff use apple cider vinegar. mix one part apple cider vinegar and one part water. use a spray bottlr or one of those bottles people use to color their hair to apple it in your hair then wrap it and leave it in for 15 min. then wash it. it really helped me lol
Does anyone have hair like mine? I describe it as cotton candy and its more fluffy than frizzy. It's so big and I get embarrassed and don't know what to do with it! I don't like using heat, and even if I straighten it, the strands are straighter but it's still fluffy and big.
+Madeline daut mine is just like that! Cotton Candy! Aiye Aiye Aiye! I can blow dry it, and its so freaking fluffy! I can't stand it! I've switched shampoo and yet it's still the same! I live in Alabama and its cold here too now.
My hair is so frizzy. It's between wavy and curly too. But the thing that I noticed is that after few days from washing my hair it becomes quite curly and not that frizzy and it looks quite nice ^^
Yes! I do the same ^^ Finally someone who understands. And I guess when you have frizzy hair it doesn't get greasy or smth, so even after a week without washing it looks good ;D
Yep :) I don't know about you, but when I wash my hair and it dries, it get's wavy/curly. And sometimes I like that a bit messy look :D But of course as days pass it changes. I usually have my hair in high ponytail, so the ends of my hair gets curly really nice, but when I let my hair down, it doesnt look good, cuz then half of my hair is quite straight, the next part is puffy and the ends are curly. It looks weird :D
my hair is exactly like that :D the upper part is almost straight but the ends are curly and some of them are wavy, each section is different it's SOO weird!!! but i'm happy i'm not alone to have hair like that :))
Finally a video that explains why our hair is frizzy! Thank you Mimi :) I am finding that as I get older, I am 40, my hair is getting frizzier. This video has now given me a new routine for my hair. I look forward to seeing how it works for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you
Hi just wanted to thank you for the advice! I have suffered from frizzy hair forever and now that I live on a tropical island it is nearly impossible to keep my hair looking nice. Just as you described, previously I would style it then as soon as I left the house it would become a frizzy mess. So frustrating! I followed your instructions by first brushing the hair when wet then blow drying using a round brush. I purchased argan moroccan oil and tigi wax stick to style accordingly! Wow what a difference. My boyfriend can not get over how great my hair looks now. It's a little time consuming to do all this but the style usually lasts 2-3 days so it's not so bad. Thank you again! I hope others find this info useful.
My hair is the bastard child between wavy and straight, so its basically 50% straight or relatively straight hair and the other 50% decided to loose its mind and turn into weird curly strands. It makes me look like I chemically straightened my hair before, then got too lazy to maintain it. Honestly, its so shitty I've shaved it completely off before because I hated it so much. I wish I could find a permanent remedy for stupid hair, since not only is it stupid but I live in a humid country so whatever tricks I learn, it reverts to its normal self in 30 minutes or less. The only options I think I have are 1) moving countries 2) constantly shaving my head 3) having a hair transplant. So, while this video was very helpful in the sense that I'm good for an hour or so, I don't think it would work on my brand of frizzy hair. PS: I've tried all the tips, I assure you. I've done so since I was a teenager.
Hi guys *Just use hair oil. You can find it in a indian shop, you just ask for someone if you don't know it. Many indian women use hair oil.* The one i am using is 'Amla' , you don't have to exactly buy that but just ask them for any. Trust me it helps alooot. I have been using it ever since i was a little girl. All you gotta do is: Step 1: put oil on your hair and massage it Step 2: leave it for 15-30 mins Step3: then go into the shower and wash your hair like you normally do. I recommend you washing it with shampoo & condition. TRUST ME IT WORKS!
My hair was similar. It would either be pin straight and frizzy, awkwardly puffy waves, or over the top hobbit curls that if I brushed was a DISASTER. Blow drying helps a lot. Don't let it dry over night!
Why would I or anyone else should feel guilty for curly hair? Why not enjoy such a gift of fate, instead of blowdrying and straightening it every day, and that's why they become unruly. If you deeply moisturize your hair, you'll get tight and shiny curls.
Well, I love using oil immediately after washing, oil that does not make your hair greasy, for example, coconut oil or avocado oil or grapeseed oil. Then i use a mask, i always wear a top hat or towel because heat helps it to go deeper into the hair. Then i wash it off and use the styling spray for curly hair, then i blow dry my hair with a diffuser with ionic protection, i hope this will help=)
natalie.d.02 i agree, but in the most cases when it doesn't work, the hair is too damaged, then you need some time to recover it, try to avoid heat etc. :)
This is the best description of frizzy hair and its causes I've ever seen! Thank you! I've always had a little bit of frizz. But I just colored my hair and I've been feeling like Hermione Granger! This helps a ton!
i live in a hot country and i have quite frizzy hair that are crazy and wavy/curly with some straight pieces. they are not dry because i never use heat on them, they just dry frizzy. so my advice... make sure you keep them hydrated by mosturizing, using oils and masks and not using heat. don't brush when dry, or brush at night with a wooden brush and then put them in braids. and lastly my life saver: after i go out of the shower, i let them air dry until they are 80-90% dry, then i put them in a big french braid and leave them like that overnight or for some hours. it helps tons, because it tames them, makes the curls cohesive and not weirdly wavy/curly mixed with straight, and gets rid of a lot of frizz. also, i always sleep with a french braid.
My hair is horrible and gets me really depressed. :( Nothing I've done has worked. I try to straighten it but even without humidity it goes back to wavy in time, and I don't like to show my natural hair because the waves look ridiculous. Some areas of my hair are very wavy and the others not much, so it looks really stupid, especially my bangs. On top of all of that I have really thin hair and a small head so I look really bad with my hair up. :/ Ugh...
Mimi, I can't say more about how much I adore you and your positive attitude! I think I do have the same natural hair type as yours and have been having a major frizziness since i had stopped having my hair straightened chemically (I had had that treatment done for 7 years straight). Now as i want to embrace my natural wave, I need to tame the frizz because it seriously is the culprit for all my bad hair days. So I'm gonna try your tips immediately..!!
If everyone is commenting, "why do you want to get rid of your curly hair etc." then why did you come onto this video for how to get rid of curly hair? To criticise the video? If you think it's fine to have curly hair, then just don't click on this video. Done. Curly hair is fine, but this video is helping people who don't want it.
I hope this helps, my hairdresser said that because I have naturally frizzy hair and I live in a very humid city every time I wash my hair I have to use a repairing or moisturizing mask/treatment or sometimes i just use coconut oil for like and hour and then shower, it doesn't matter how many products I apply after my shower, the important is always using a hair mask or a treatment EVERY TIME you wash your hair and since I started doing this my hair is waaay less frizzy, it´s pretty much not frizzy at all
Whenever I brush my hair when it's wet I get split ends so what do I do? Also my hair is straight and wavy and oily, yet frizzy with a lot of flyaways. Any suggestions on how to tame it?
Sheela Yuan Deep condition once a week, condition every time you shower, detangle with a wide-tooth comb like the person said over me. Don't brush hair when its dry it «breaks» the waves. Don't touch your hair too much when its wet it causes frizz, detangle, scrunch with your hands ( no scrunch-products if u have 2a wavy) while its wet and let dry.
I have pretty much the same hair as you do, so here are some tips from personal experience: - Do NOT comb or brush through your hair when it is wet. Wet hair breaks more easily than dry hair. - Just run your fingers through it and get as many tangles out as possible. - When dry, if necessary, comb through it instead of using a brush. - You can also use an oil for your hair, like Argan oil. This helps seal in the moisture if you have fry hair and it won't break as easily. - Use the right shampoo. Try to get one that makes your hair shiny. Shampoo enough, or else your hair won't get rid of those split ends and they will stand up even more. - Also use a good conditioner that aims towards making your hair shiny. Use shampoo and conditioner every time you shower, or you will either have dry hair that will break easily or hair with knots. - Lastly, DO NOT BLOW DRY. If you have to, put it on the lowest heat and run through your hair with your fingers while blow drying. Hope that helped :)
Ok 2 things were wrong and those tips dont apply to anyone 1. you don't shampoo every time your in the shower 2. You can comb hair while it's wet if it is curly wavy or kinky, unlike straight hair.
Vincent Goyette-Gingras I said MY personal experience, and these tips have all worked for me. 1. I agree, don't shampoo your hair every time you shower if you shower every day. 2. No matter what kind of hair you have, hair breaks easily if it's wet, more so than when it's dry. And my tips aren't *wrong*. They may not work for everybody, but they do for some and I was just helping.
Use cold air, and angle your nozzle downwards. Using even more heat on your hair when blowdrying can actually open up the cuticles, making the hair look frizzy. The trick is to use cold air. =)
I just oil my hair regularly with coconut / olive oil (for 1-2 hours before washing) and use loreal professional hair mask (frizzultima) followed with argan oil after towel dry. Works for me!
My hair gets tangled if I have it in a ponytail. I have to brush out the tangles all the time, and it doesn't help that it's pretty long xc I know the feeling
Nim I have long curly hair never brush your hair wet or dry use a wide tooth comb on either wet or damp hair make sure that you are not using shampoo with sulfates or silicone and get suave essentials conditioner.
What I recommend is when u are washing your hair and u condition it, Leave it for like 2-4 min at least. That will give a soft feel and not as many tangles
I have a question. I have curly hair and you said not to brush it when it's dry. But I always feel like I need to brush my hair everyday because it looks like a hot mess and feels uncomfortable. Help?
Yes it causes more frizzyness because i have done it and omg i look like a mess. I recommend using shampoo and conditioner or you can use hair oil. Get it from an indian shop. Your name sounds indian.
i have curly hair too! Trust me, no matter WHAT- NEVER BRUSH YOUR HAIR WHEN IT'S DRY!!!! i only brush my hair (with a normal brush/ or your favorite brush) BEFORE i shower. Because my hair is curly, i usually start by brushing the tips of my hair first, then slowly working my way up- MAKING SURE I GET ALL THE TANGLES. and if you catch yourself in a knot, be gentle, and don't yank your hair. Also, when i'm in the shower, after shampooing my hair, i use my conditioner. When i apply my conditioner, i use a wide-toothed comb that i keep in the shower and brush out my hair again and then rinse out the conditioner. When you dry your hair be gentle with it. and then after my shower, i don't brush my hair again until the next time i wash my hair. (Unless ofcourse, i'm styling it :P)
Henna has done amazing things to my frizzy, mousy brown hair. It tames it and adds awesome red undertones. It turns my early grays into subtle red highlights, too!
I’m so happy I can finally relate to someone who finally understands me! Ugh I love my wavy hair but as soon as I leave the house my hair is sooo dry and frizzy after many minutes of brushing!
My hair is exactly like hers. Somewhere in between wavy and curly, depending on it's mood, and frizzy as all heck. I've pretty much given up all hope of having neat looking hair, but maybe this will work out! For girls whose hair is like this and it gets tangly SO easy (mine does): When you brush it out at the end of the day (when you're done with your hair style for the night), get a spray bottle and fill it a little under half with steaming hot water. Add four amounts of however much conditioner you use on your hair (for me it's four pumps), then fill it up with cold water, leaving room to shake it. Lid it, and shake it till he conditioner is dissolved. And wa`la. Spray the heck out of your hair with it and brush it out- it gets it wet and it detangles! This is the only thing that I have been able to tame my hair with for years!
I really respect this woman! How great is it that she's sharing all these beautiful ideas with us, and teaching us tips and tricks along the way. Thanks. :)
My hair is exactly like hers!! I have no idea what products to use cause I am only 13 but I just want straight natural hair. I want no curls and I just want my frizzy ness to stop and I want straight soft hair that would look nice if I cut it chest length. Any advice??
Hi guys *Just use hair oil. You can find it in a indian shop, you just ask for someone if you don't know it. Many indian women use hair oil.* *The one i am using is 'Amla' , you don't have to exactly buy that but just ask them for any.* Trust me it helps alooot. Don't wash too much as the oil will be gone from your but don't wash little as the oil will be so much in your hair. The right amount is all you need!!
I just wanted to cry because it was like you were describing wavy and frizzy hair😅 I am just imagining how amazing our hair would have been without frizzy nature..😭 But brushing when the hair is wet even alittle and blowing is the main reason for slit ends in most people with dry hai.
i have a curly yet frizzy and thick hair! i'm so ashamed to let my hair down. what should i do? what shampoo i need to use? what type of comb? what treatment i need to take?
Ugh same problem, the only solution for me is 'keratin', it's makes my hair healthy shiny and 70% better. oh and my hair now is really long, it's a miracle.
I would recommend not fighting your curls, instead try and embrace them. I have a video on my channel if you want some advice, but there are a lot on youtube that can help!
never hate your hair, every hair type is beautiful SPACIALLY thick hair like yours, and if it CURLY even more, maybe you want to learn how to treat curly hair go check out 2 youtubers that will help: Curly penny, or Nathi,(but only if its curly) 😊😊😊😊 glad to help
+Loeyis Ramirez Thick hair MAY be adored by others but it's a pain in the ass to take care of. Didn't comb your hair for a day? Have fun pulling off all the knots as well as half of your hair. Too hot and humid outside? Don't worry your hair will only look like a jungle? Only a little bit of conditioner left? Either you buy more now or regret the bedhead and extreme tangles. Still want thick hair my friends? Think again.
my hair is frizzy but to top that I have tons of baby hairs. Well I'm 14 and these baby hairs are super irritating. Like I could just put my baby hairs upwards and it'll just stay like that.
I learned a lot from this video and I am not surprised why it has 7M views. Great content , quality video and remember this is 8 years ago. You are ahead of the time, lady. Congratulations!
I LOVE how you're so honest about the various hair treatments out there. I knew they were bad but was kinda unsure considering so many people who were happy with it. But then its what happens after that is worth noting. Thank you for such great advice! :)
I really know how you really feel having curly frizzy hair because mine is exactly like yours. Arghhhh, so envy sometimes with the people who are naturally born with straight, thick and shiny hair. :"
I dreamed of that sleek hair finish like celebrities have. The finishing gel stick by liittllextra neatfix is incredible. It didn’t leave any residue and smells nice and natural. It’s non-sticky and never feels oily. Absolutely go for it. And yes, it has rosemary too!
im half vietnamese and 25% hispanic 25% filipino so my dad has thin straight hair and my mom has curly hair. That gave me straight hair with some random curls sticking out. My hair is really oily all the time, applying argan oil does help the curliness but it just feels uncomfortable since my hair is already full of oil. the curls aren't really that noticable, if you saw me like 5 feet away you would think my hair is naturally really straight. But up close you can see ramen noodles sticking out of my bangs and everywhere else and it looks like i haven't showered in days even if i showered right before that. I have weird mutation hair ;'(
From my experience, the curly hair gene(CC) and the straight hair gene(SS) creates the wavy gene(CS) and your hair may very well be wavy and weighed down since your dad had thin hair? You should maybe start using silicone free products and use gel or a curl cream to scrunch your hair.
yep same, except I have thick hair yet straight but it gets frizzy whenever it's too dry. Years ago it wasn't like this, I got a habit of brushing my hair often now since it gets a bit tangly and it poofs a bit which looks weird-
Omg everything you said in this video is exactly me. Thank you so much! I've been struggling with frizzy crazy in between wavy/curly hair my whole life and this really helped. New sub
If your hair gets frizzy and big when you brush it and your hair is always frizzy and not perfectly straight then y'all have wavy/curly hair! Don't brush it ever again...not when dry, only when wet (if you have wavy/curly hair.) Or else there will be major frizz.
TREASURE CULLEN Coconut oil is your savior. Trust me my hair is nasty, frizzy and curly and just a couple drops of coconut oil near your ends will smooth it out.
Actually it did fix me xD, there's a little small section (in the side front) and ice tried EVERYTHING so it could stay down, my mom bought me some coconut oil and it didn't work
I kinda gave up on my hair, I didn’t know what to do with it so I just didn’t do anything. It made me really self conscious because it’s just a massive rats nest on my head, no one in my class has frizzy hair so it’s extremely embarrassing when mine looks so bad next to all their amazing hairstyles which made me even more self conscious 😅 I’ll try some of these to see if they work, thanks!
I have struggled with having very thick curly frizzy hair my whole life. The absolute BEST product I’ve ever used is this revlon blow Dyer. It’s called the revlon one step hair dryer & volumizer. It’s incredible and I can’t live without it! It cuts my drying time in half easily. It’s like being able to round brush your hair with the blow dryer only. Trust me if you have hair like mine you will LOVE it.
my hair is wavy and straight but theres always a huge fizzy layer on top of my head and i hate it! also none of the hairs stay together they just make a huge frizz ball! I don't have curly hair PLEASE HELP
My Hair is VERY VERY THICK!, and Wavy. And sometimes, after I brush it, it takes only a few minutes then my hair is like OH MY GOSH! I was like wearing a wig! (Curly and Big Wig!) I need help. to how to survive it! I'm from Philippines
Get rid of your brush honey! If you have knots, gently finger comb them out. This causes much less frizz. I'll admit that my hair is naturally straight, but I dry it in braids, so it stays wavy until the next wash. Brushing turns my hair into a bush, but gently pulling knots apart with my fingers keep the waves together, which means little to no frizz. Hope that helps!
I'm struggling with frizzy, CURLY hair. Whenever I straighten it my sisters get mad at me because their sweet and don't want my hair more damaged than it already is. I am in the process of finding a heatless way to straighten my hair. Thank you for this video.
don't copare yourself to em tho everyone's different that's what make us unique if, if u didn't love urself u will never be happy no matter how beautiful hairdo u have or skin or whatever Stay you
I love how you're so positive about your frizzy hair😊 My hair is wavy and frizzy and I hate it so much. I cut my hair thrice already bcs when I was a kid I had a really straight hair. But I used to wash my hair with hot water everyday. I think that's why my hair is so damaged now. Can anyone help me? 💖💖
My hair is naturally wavy/frizzy and if I wash and dry and straighten it it becomes very frizzy but if you have hair like this I recommend spraying a small amount of Hairspray on your hair and brushing it through it makes your hair not frizzy
i am super grateful for this bcs im a student that cant afford much salon products and equipment to get rid of my unbearable frizzy hair, and this just says SIMPLE products like argon oil and hair wax and that saves me so much time and money, especially since i dont really know how to do complicated things so this video quite literally saved my butt from humiliation, my friends keep pointing out how my hair is so messy even though it is literally tied and pinned down, its just my frizz
Well I let my hair dry naturally and put then olive or coconut oil into my hair then groom it. And because my hair is so dry it won't be oily the next day just shiny.
*I have been using sulfate ,alcohol, silicon and dye free product in which has argan oil as well . I would suggest you this one argan rain products... My hair shine and feel very soft. I have also , frizzy, a little dry & somewhat thick hair, but with the product i mentioned it is now manageable and my hair grow faster and stronger.*
I have frizzy hair and very hard to tame I just recently started getting frizzy hair out of the blue and I really think this video will help me thank you❤

SURYA could you see the brand of the hair wax she was using? I was mad she didn’t even mention the specific products she used lol
1. Don't brush your hair when it's dry. Towel dry your hair after washing it and then brush. The round brush is helpful
2. Don't feed alcohol to your hair

•Brush your hair before washing it
•Don't wash it more than 2 times a week
•Dry it with a tshirt instead of a towel and just dab it softly

•Don't brush it when it's wet
•Check your shampoo and conditioner NO sulphates, silicones, drying alcohol. Should contain glycerin

It’s so annoying when my hair gets frizzy people are always like “you need to brush that tangled hair”
I have wavy hair and sometimes it sucks....

i use mask every sunday for my hair. egg+castor oil+ coconut milk+ fresh cream+almond oil+ basil leaves+ clove oil + henna leaves + honey. blend this mixture well and apply leave it in my hair for say 2 hours and then rinse it off. the hair when dried of remains bit oily so I shampoo it using my regular shampoo. I dont condition it though because I think oil might make it already too much conditioned. after shampooing dry hair by brushing gently. apply bit argan oil. this works like miracle for me. I have had really bad hair but this mask helps my hair remain down for atleast a week. all the best

I always put my hair in a ponytail and at the end of the day my hair becomes EXTREMELY frizzy
Same . I need a change now
IT FREAKING SUCKS
Hi guys
*Just use hair oil. You can find it in a indian shop, you just ask for someone if you don't know it. Many indian women use hair oil.*
The one i am using is 'Amla' , you don't have to exactly buy that but just ask them for any.
Trust me it helps alooot. I have been using it ever since i was a little girl.
All you gotta do is:
Step 1: put oil on your hair and massage it
Step 2: leave it for 15-30 mins
Step3: then go into the shower and wash your hair like you normally do.
I recommend you washing it with shampoo & condition.
TRUST ME IT WORKS!
Sakura Haruno nah, tried it constant. Still do it. I've even cycled between different types of oils, both natural and commercial.
***** *hmm really? I have frizzy curly hair. My hair still looks curly but its not frizzy but oily.*
***** *you what you should do? You should use Shampoo & conditioner whenever you are washing your hair! My hair look almost straight!!!*
My hair was similar. It would either be pin straight and frizzy, awkwardly puffy waves, or over the top hobbit curls that if I brushed was a DISASTER. Blow drying helps a lot. Don't let it dry over night!
I NEED that hair wax bc every time i come out of the shower and then it dries, there's very small baby curls tht stand and i get annoyed.

Why would I or anyone else should feel guilty for curly hair? Why not enjoy such a gift of fate, instead of blowdrying and straightening it every day, and that's why they become unruly. If you deeply moisturize your hair, you'll get tight and shiny curls.
What do u do to deeply moisturize?
Well, I love using oil immediately after washing, oil that does not make your hair greasy, for example, coconut oil or avocado oil or grapeseed oil. Then i use a mask, i always wear a top hat or towel because heat helps it to go deeper into the hair. Then i wash it off and use the styling spray for curly hair, then i blow dry my hair with a diffuser with ionic protection, i hope this will help=)
Well, for some people it doesn't work just like that. ._.
natalie.d.02 i agree, but in the most cases when it doesn't work, the hair is too damaged, then you need some time to recover it, try to avoid heat etc. :)
Same reason people with straight beautiful hair curl their hair..
This is the best description of frizzy hair and its causes I've ever seen! Thank you! I've always had a little bit of frizz. But I just colored my hair and I've been feeling like Hermione Granger! This helps a ton!
We appreciate this lovely feedback, Emma! 💗
i live in a hot country and i have quite frizzy hair that are crazy and wavy/curly with some straight pieces. they are not dry because i never use heat on them, they just dry frizzy. so my advice... make sure you keep them hydrated by mosturizing, using oils and masks and not using heat. don't brush when dry, or brush at night with a wooden brush and then put them in braids. and lastly my life saver: after i go out of the shower, i let them air dry until they are 80-90% dry, then i put them in a big french braid and leave them like that overnight or for some hours. it helps tons, because it tames them, makes the curls cohesive and not weirdly wavy/curly mixed with straight, and gets rid of a lot of frizz. also, i always sleep with a french braid.
thanks! really helpful :)
thanks sooooooo much!
:/ Ugh...

Sheela Yuan don't brush hair when wet lol
Sheela Yuan Deep condition once a week, condition every time you shower, detangle with a wide-tooth comb like the person said over me. Don't brush hair when its dry it «breaks» the waves. Don't touch your hair too much when its wet it causes frizz, detangle, scrunch with your hands ( no scrunch-products if u have 2a wavy) while its wet and let dry.
I have pretty much the same hair as you do, so here are some tips from personal experience:
- Do NOT comb or brush through your hair when it is wet.
Ok 2 things were wrong and those tips dont apply to anyone 1. you don't shampoo every time your in the shower
When i blow dry my hair, it's MORE frizzy!! I hate it, and i do it correctly too! I can't figure this out...
Me too
Use cold air, and angle your nozzle downwards. Using even more heat on your hair when blowdrying can actually open up the cuticles, making the hair look frizzy. The trick is to use cold air. =)
Thar Chandran Oh, thanks, I will try it! :)
Try using a blow-dry balm/ cream while you blow dry it should help tame that mane . :)
That would definitely help as well!
I just oil my hair regularly with coconut / olive oil (for 1-2 hours before washing) and use loreal professional hair mask (frizzultima) followed with argan oil after towel dry. Works for me!
I adore her accent and the way she speaks 😭💗💗
She said not to brush your hair when is dry, but my hair gets tangled all the time...
That will give a soft feel and not as many tangles
you use a wide tooth comb.
Nim I also get tangles all the time but I use wide tooth comb so it has become easier for me
I have a question.
Comb through with your fingers or a large toothed comb.
Sakura Haruno What a pity generalization. Its not Indian, porbably Pakistani, but in anyway its not cool to just plainly assume things like that
i have curly hair too!
Get a a spray bottle with water or dry shampoo and then brush it I have the same hair
Thanks. :)

im half vietnamese and 25% hispanic 25% filipino so my dad has thin straight hair and my mom has curly hair. I have weird mutation hair ;'(
Hope Nguyen Same 😰
From my experience, the curly hair gene(CC) and the straight hair gene(SS) creates the wavy gene(CS) and your hair may very well be wavy and weighed down since your dad had thin hair? You should maybe start using silicone free products and use gel or a curl cream to scrunch your hair.
yep same, except I have thick hair yet straight but it gets frizzy whenever it's too dry. Years ago it wasn't like this, I got a habit of brushing my hair often now since it gets a bit tangly and it poofs a bit which looks weird-

I thought hair wax was only for shorter hair, but now I'll HAVE to check it out! Those baby hairs on the top of my head annoy me so much😣
"kinda in between and can't make up its mind" my hair and also story of my life
I kinda gave up on my hair, I didn’t know what to do with it so I just didn’t do anything.
Jessica B same ! Plus i have oil roots, so the wax is no a opcion .
My Hair is VERY VERY THICK!, and Wavy. And sometimes, after I brush it, it takes only a few minutes then my hair is like OH MY GOSH! I was like wearing a wig! (Curly and Big Wig!) I need help. to how to survive it! I'm from Philippines
My hair is very very thick too.. And im from philippines too
ohh.... I think, we need help? I guess?
I have very very thick hair, but it's straight. I'm from the Philippines too :/
HAHAHHA.
Want to know what shampoo + conditioner u use!
chrissy grant it's Rahua, I posted link of other video when she tells it.
I'm struggling with frizzy, CURLY hair. Whenever I straighten it my sisters get mad at me because their sweet and don't want my hair more damaged than it already is. I am in the process of finding a heatless way to straighten my hair. Thank you for this video.

@@user-my8qj thank you 😊...
Thanks for your suggestion, darling. xo
i am super grateful for this bcs im a student that cant afford much salon products and equipment to get rid of my unbearable frizzy hair, and this just says SIMPLE products like argon oil and hair wax and that saves me so much time and money, especially since i dont really know how to do complicated things so this video quite literally saved my butt from humiliation, my friends keep pointing out how my hair is so messy even though it is literally tied and pinned down, its just my frizz
Why do you keep cutting the video mid sentence?
I know it is kinda of annoying
Well I let my hair dry naturally and put then olive or coconut oil into my hair then groom it. And because my hair is so dry it won't be oily the next day just shiny.
hey we have the same picture sorry this is random lol
hahaha yeah this is awesome :D
*I have been using sulfate ,alcohol, silicon and dye free product in which has argan oil as well . I would suggest you this one argan rain products... My hair shine and feel very soft. I have also , frizzy, a little dry & somewhat thick hair, but with the product i mentioned it is now manageable and my hair grow faster and stronger.*
