This story is in the beginning of Carl Barks era of most brilliant pieces. I can just wonder if someday in the future there will be a way of animating these into an animation film, but preserving the timing, the action, and the complexity of the characters. It was done in a very basic aspect with DuckTales, but mostly on the childish side. Maybe some sort of A.I....
@@Sattlen I remember Carl Barks saying how in comics you can go from Point A to Point B without all the in-between stuff in animation. Bill Watterson said something similar, and that that was one of the reasons he chose not to adapt Calvin and Hobbes for animation.
This is wonderful. Just like reading the comic book with a new flair and great music to go along with it ! This was one of my favorites when I was ten years old. I'm almost sixty now and I still love it !! Thank you for doing this video !!
ive been looking for this one. i own the life and times of scrooge mcduck book with both of that agony creek prisoner + hearts of the yukon, i really wants to see the continuation. thanks for the upload
My first ever comic was the midas touch. Ten-cent valentine was the second. Then I read the return to the clodike. You're lucky to have all those comics
6:12 Yikes looks like Donald`s and Louie`s feet as well as Dewey`s beak didn't take the rocky terrain too well. XD Didn't expect old Disney comics to be this graphic! XD
Thank you for sharing these Crazy Ducks Adventures from your comic books!! Donald and his nephews BLINDLY follow Uncle Scrooge for ADVENTURE and those 25 cents, per hour!! HAHAHAHAHA!!
@@harounbraik868 Several pages are missing here that were censored by the censors in the 1950s as "too violent": The scenes in which the young Uncle Scrooge fights in the saloon and then kidnaps Goldie to his claim. The music is from various British or American orchestras from 1920's, and from other various instrumental music, mostly found on RUclips, such as from this clip for example ruclips.net/video/sUrEJwk6Mdc/видео.html
Thank you so much for replying. P.s. My all time favorite Donald Duck comic is “Land Beneath the Ground” with the Terries and the Fermies. You’ve rekindled my reading of these great classics.

Definitely not AI.
Fuck AI, we don't need this converted into a animated film either, it's a comic, it's animated in its own right, this is how its supposed to be.

Daaaaang, this Goldie is a _skeleton_ with _feathers._ Her arms are only second to legit stick figure drawings.
How can anyone say, comics are not ART! So great, these Bark - stories...
I agree with you! The drawings and the stories!
As crazy as this idea is, for unknown reasons, I actually enjoyed it!! Brilliant selection of background music too - Thanks for this upload!
This is exactly like reading the comic books, thank you!
While I am loving David Tennant as the new Scrooge McDuck, I still picture Alan Young when I read a Scrooge comic.
Such a classic! Thanks for uploading and adding such an atmospheric soundtrack

For sec I expected a comic dub
Wow, the most original story. There Scrooge is the cheapest one than in cartoon.

That isn’t blood. It’s just the coloring of this copy. It’s the same reason Uncle Scrooge’s coat is green here.
excellent. we need all comics to become videocomics like this. the entire barks and don rosa work
I love this comics!
THANK YOU !!!!
I used to have that comic. No idea if I still do
This is the censored version, it doesn't have the backstory.
Thanks you Sir .
How come the nephews can skip school whenever they are shanghaied by uncle scrooge?

@@Kardanwelle1994 Thank you 😊.
But for me the most shocking thing in this is the old Goldie's arms 😖
There aren't but a few cartoons that had uncle Scrooge in them they should of made a regular series of cartoons that uncle Scrooge starred in
Disney is releasing this in Limited Digital Format tomorrow on the VeVe app. 💙
OMG! Chill pills in the docs cabinet I love it!
Cartoons that uncle Scrooge talked in them is what I mean
"How're *you* doing up there, Louie?"
... That's Huey, guys.
Sound to here uncle Scrooge s voice
2:54 Goose. I thought the ostrich egg nugget?
Goldie was singing "After the Ball": ruclips.net/video/OozyvgyirPQ/видео.html
Awwwww scrooge! is still soft!
Rj Pena
He is soft
Just doesn't like to show it that much.
Yeah, why’s he always hitting Donald and being mean to him? He is his nephew.
Scrooge would rather not be manipulated by a greedy, gold-stealing temptress, though. 😶

WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE MUSIC??????!?!
like reading but somehow better than print. wow, must be mainstream
This music is so annoying.
I like it. It's perfectly sixties.
Edit: Or is it Swing? I can't tell, I'm not a music guy
I prefer Don Rosa
I couldn't agree with you more!
Better not tell him
there wouldn't be a rosa comic if there was no barks
i like both
