    Most, if not all of these tips have been covered multiple times by many RUclipsrs, but you do a great job of explaining them in a way that is easy to understand 😊

    Dogg man, you're right, we have been doing it wrong for the last thirty years. But the biggest tijp is: two hours and forty minutes is a lot of coffee.

    Load of great info in this video. The jig for daidos size with router bits was my favourite one. It's taken me three days to get to the end of this mammoth tips video.

    Hey man, what type of digital caliper do you use… I liked the look in the plywood thickness section.

    Bowing can also be limited by ensuring the clamp bars are in contact with the wood surface on top and bottom. Using minimal clamping force also helps.

    Couldn't agree with you more about You Tube being a marketplace. I mean how many height gauges does one need? Some of my favorite videos are those that actually make tools rather than buying one. For example there are commercial kerf makers that cost a small fortune. There are tons of videos that show you how to make one with a couple of pieces of scape hard wood and a flat head screw. Works perfectly fine.

      @@FlynndoggWoodwork No problem. You yourself just demonstrated exactly what I mean. With just one set of set up blocks, you were able to make a very accurate set up gauge with just a scrap piece of 4x4. Pretty ingenious in my book. Thanks!

    Blade thickess is generally from the outside of one cutting tooth to the outside of the next. This takes into account the offset of the saw teeth.

      Yes! You are correct. You need to incorporate the set of a saw blade. Fortunately miter saw has minimal amount

      @@FlynndoggWoodwork I often use the phrase: SQUIRREL! This happens when I get distracted and start doing something other than what I needed to do. Our neighborhood doesn't have squirrels so I don't know why I'm so easily distracted. SQUIRREL

    Fold sandpaper smooth side in and cut through from the back. Straighter cut and is saves a bit of wear on the blade.

    You should be using clamps
    /vise to hold small pieces for drilling.
