-Riot: We're gonna put you in games with plat players because you're better than your current rank. - You mean I'm as good as a plat player? -Riot: yes -Then my rank should be plat. -Riot: no
the answer lies behind your win or lose bro :D so, basically you need to focus more on winning until system put you in place, but when you do get there, then you need to focus on performance more then winning otherwise you gonna lose more then you get. xdd for example: most of diamond players are been put into gold elo, but if they win a lot of games in a row they insta get skiped to the platuim 3, and when they comeback to the diamond they need to focus more on performing well because they gonna start losing a lot.
Playing soloque really is a great way to polish your own gameplay! It`s always fun to que up with friends, but it`s easy to rely to much on you premades! Great tips here as always bro 🎯
this is like a motivational vid to me, I didnt play comp for the last episode because I kept getting rekt and now mr. lowlander managed to make me get into it again, wish me luck 😄
this episode i deranked from bronze 3 to iron 1 i lost all my hope for the episode and wanted to quite until i watched this vid thanks a lot for this motivation
dude i legit wanted to rank down to iron on my alt for a rank up pyramid but my friends just show their proness when it matters the least =_= now i gotta make a rankup pyramid starting from gold...... if you are iron my only advice for easy game wins is to just flank the enemy. don't flank too far from your team, just enough so that when you hear them run to the site your teammates are, you can get behind them and get easy kills. and don't be scared to take fights. if someone trash talks, just mute them. tbh i am immortal and some silvers legit have better aim than me
Its not your fault for that. Everyone got ranked lower. I have some friends who deranked just as much as you, if not more. Youre still good just grind it back out :)
Oh my god, It's been months since I played valorant or watched you! Im so proud of you that you've grown so much! I still remember those days when you were below a 100k Keep doing what you're doing, im gonna start playing again cuz of you!
one of the big things that helped me go from bronze to gold is muting toxic teammates. The more tilted you get the worse you're going to play. Toxic teammates aren't going to give you any useless information so just mute them and focus on playing for yourself. Being a positive reinforcement for your teammates also really helps. I was playing with a friend and he had to clutch a 1 v 4. He was nervous and kept saying he couldn't do it so I just kept saying you've got this you're better you can do it. Sometimes all you need to pop off is confidence :) Be kind guys
The never surrender tactic always works on your favor because the possibility for a comeback is VERY HIGH in this game + even if you don't win, you will still lose less depending on how many round you have won. I suggest everybody who watches this video to always encourage your teammate to continue playing even if you are down 0-12 because as long as the opponent's score isn't 13 (overtime aside) yet, you haven't lost yet.
Man lowlander, you are such a positive guy. Positivity is the best thing to have. Give it all to the people who are struggling the most. Thanks man and peace!
the most important piece of advice was to look at what you are doing wrong and fix it instead of focusing on winning and you will gradually rank up more. if you focus on hitting your one taps it will make you a lot better and eventually make your rank better
Hey MrLowlander, I apreciate the help and the warm welcome from the valorant community, valorant is a new type of game for me, as I have never tried cs:go, so being so dearly welcomed puts a smile on my face, and you showing me what valorant player can be, and what an exaplory player is like is so heartwarming! Keep up the good work
you can do this! focus on urself, I often focus on what my teammates do, and it causes no good! im kinda hardstuck in bronze 3 rn because I dont focus on myself, and it tilts me.
Like, this video really helped me and changed my mindset, like i was always sad and a bad mentality because i lose the games, but it's right that if i focus on the lose, i will not be better, but if i focus on my level, i will be always happy and proud of me. Thanks dude !
at 2:45 you say dont surrender cause you may lose RR and let me explain to you why youre right BUT surrendering is still better in the long run. Ultimately if you believe your skill is better than the rank you are in the game, you need to play more to rank up. How do we know what your capable of if you dont show up?... the more matches you play the more you gain till your reach your skill cap. Thats how Valorant works. They dont determine how good your skill is after 1 single game.. But only after points amounting over matches played. With that being said essentially the more matches you play and show up to the higher your rank will go till you are where you need to be.. The faster your matches go (13-5, 13-7 vs 13-11, 16-14) the more matches you can play thus ranking you up faster. The idea works like this. IT IS TRUE that if you FF you may lose 2 more RR or so. But essentially you finished the match 20 minutes earlier allowing you to get into another match, that can be a win, faster... So if youre just outright getting flattened by another team.. and there are still 5-10 rounds left.. the cost of 2 RR does not outweigh the time saved... If you FF faster and get into other matches that are more likely to win and perform better, in essence you are ranking up faster. The cost of the 2 RR to save 20 minutes to get into another match faster mathematically equates to ranking up faster.
I've developed a mindset in my games. "Don't worry everyone has a bad game". After that I got alot of confidence and even starting to main Jett from being a Sage main and started top fragging games with her. I'll say it's about confidence and if you get a bad game, don't worry coz one game doesn't define your performance, there will always be more games to play so don't be too harsh on yourself.
I felt like I was in therapy for this video it helped out so much and helped with my understanding I sound like a Bot when typing this but truly useful and makes me feel a little more less stressed about everything
My MMR must be insane, ive had literally only matches where everyone is an entire rank above me. (Currently only bronze 1 tbf but i literally just started playing ranked 2 days ago, and everyones silver 2-3 except one guy that was bronze 2 in my most recent match).
As a bronze player, i have to say your videos inspire me so much to continue grinding and climbing the ranks. Especially after long and grueling sessions your videos motivate me to continue climbing.
someone copied ur comment lol. but dw, its a scam channel and he keeps on appearing on every valorant vid I see pretty much. i was confused af i was like wait didn't I read a comment like this already? i'm gonna go report his channel rn.
I can definitely relate to the insecurity, as I used to and still play with some friends that are much better than me. It is really demotivating and kills your morale. I wouldn't buy anything above a specter as I viewed it as giving the enemy a free gun, and just became a cash cow and a voluntered bait for my team, because i didn't think i had any other use. Some words of wisdom, dont play like this, the game stops being fun, and you will never improve, and if you do, your growth will be extremely stunted. Start playing ranked solo against people your skill level, and soon you'll find you have an advantage in game sense and aim, especially after playing against players way above your skill level. Never give up, it will get easier and you will guarenteed get better if you play every one or two days, even if its only a few games. Good luck, and congrats for pushing so hard.
So true and relatable. I really want to become a gold rank someday (I am bronze), but I perform so badly in competitive matches due to insecurity, even though I get aces in unrated. I want to solo-queue in competitive and play a lot more, but I’m afraid I’ll get a losing streak and lose the rank I do have. Your comment is encouraging though, I will try not to give up, thanks for writing this. 💕
The story about mmr is true I was silver 3 but carrying every single match (mainly playing with friends). When I got unranked in the new act I lost 4 of the 5 unranked matches and still got plat 2 .
wow this actually made me feel better about myself after seeing the “how many ppl are this rank” i was d2 last act and i was gettin into my own head after going on a losing streak
This was the best valorant tips on ranking up I’ve ever seen the motivation and how I believe in everyone also how u we’re explaining it so good and how u said again it’s all about fun I focus a lot on if my team is throwing or what their doing and I’m gonna try my best to not be toxic and be chill even if they are 2-18 but awesome vid man
Another good tip on how to rank up or at least get more RR is being ready to trade your team or entry for them. There was a discussion before about how they score ACS and the best way to get good ACS is by trading your team and stop baiting for low impact kills. The game also scores you on how good you trade your team by calculating the time it takes for you to kill an enemy who just killed your team.
I've been yoyo-ing between 90 and 70 rr in b3 playing against s3's and g1's... it's been frustrating but this really gave me a new perspective on things, thanks, will just play to get better
Man last episode was my hardstuck iron era where I get qed with either idiots or iron 1 players while the enemies were legit silver 2 or 1 which was frustrating. Now I'm almost out of bronze so thx for the tips mrlowlander :D

I love playing Valorant, but competitive is hard because it feels like I am getting worse when I play. I will get aces in unrated, but die constantly in competitive. I love to snipe in unrated, but can’t hit anything in competitive. So my teams always end up carrying me and it’s very discouraging sometimes, especially when they hate on me. To top it off, I’m laggy. Not sure how to improve except to watch videos like this, so thanks for uploading these. 💕
I got demoted from silver to iron and got pissed off but it was because I am not playing happily and always stacking, ur tips will hep me for sure! Thankyou.
Was hoping you would also talk about queue dodging, like how much rr you lose, how high the timer gets, at what point does the timer reset so i can dodge for free again
Got from p1 to s1 Match mvp 4 Games ( Played against silvers) and had a double rankup to s3. Now i get the wierdest lobbys, i somehow had a dia 3 and a bronce in the same lobby
I am bronze 2 and I play with my bronze 2 friend duo queue (we quitted the game half year ago and now we returned to it) we just placed in the same rank so we can play together and climb. One of my friends who didn't stop playing is now plat 3/ diamond 1. We need to catch up.
