I managed to see quite a lot of your reactions to Ramstein Songs and i would like to express my respect for you. You always succeed in putting the song in the right petspective and, as you are not a native german speaker, nevertheless, understand the meaning of the songs. I like your channel very much, and i hope your doing well. Please go on, as you did in the past. It is always a pleasure, looking at and hearing to you. Greeetings Norbert ftom Aachen, Germany
Yes, Till always tells and writes the most of the songs from the lyrical I perspective which is designed to portrait a story from the perspective of the perpetrator to make you feel uncomfortable. I personally have grown very fond of it. Everybody can write love songs or something about how they felt when they got cheated on. It take a lot of guts to do what Rammstein does.
About the leg, he injured his knee in the past so much he had to give up his career as a professional swimmer. If you look closely, you can see that he limps a little when he's walking. And about his beating the leg (called Till-hammer btw ;P). His knee had been displaced few times on stage and in order to put it back on its place, Till beat his leg. One of the band members (I don't remember which one rn) told him that it looks cool and he should make it his iconic move.
As always, a thoughtful reaction...and there are few of those. People like to shoot the messenger even though sweeping an issue under the rug never works. Rammstein has often been criticized for shining a spotlight - but their courage is another aspect of them we admire. And who else could wrap social commentary into such a kick-ass song?
Hello from Germany 🤝...Weisses Fleisch is my favourite Song. Thank you so much for getting the lyrics right. Many greetings from the german fan base. We highly appriciate you. Frohes Neues Jahr ☺ (Happy New Year) 👍
Good intro, a bit long :) but you´re right, these issues need to be adressed. Awesome older banger, heavy, fast and raw! And Flake showed me some new dance moves to impress the ladies. Perfect!
Your disquiet at this song and previously to 'Weiner Blut' are understandable. I think that the idea is maybe to enjoy the music for now and let the meaning sink in later. I agree, people are too quick to point fingers and blame someone else for every little thing. Rammstein, and Till in particular are not scared to point the finger back at themselves and say that each person is responsible for their own actions. It can be horribly uncomfortable, but more people should do it - even if we are not cannibalistic, child molesting, S&M rapists. There is so much evil in the world and people don't like it when Rammstein shine a light on it.
I'd love to see a reaction to Weisses Fleisch from the same concert as Speil Mit Mir, the "better" quality is from this concert, Rammstein - LIVE in Philipshalle, Düsseldorf (1997) | [Pro-Shot] 1080p Spiel mit mir @ 0.54 Weisses Fleisch @ 9.14
Love this song and your reaction. Maybe try Heirate Mich (1998 live version), Keine lust (music video) or Wollt ihr das bett in flammen sehen (live in Paris) next
I think it's very good that you deal with the background to this music. Very few do. Great. Nevertheless, it's music and it's there to celebrate. So don't have a guilty conscience, just have fun.
Your reactions are very cool to watch ♥ I really enjoy your remarks. I would love to watch your reaction to "Mein Land" by Rammstein. I like this video because it's so different in style and entertaining.

You're the best rammstein reactor in the YT game. Always on the same page of interpretation as myself. I'm Dutch so I understand the lyrics and still dance to this song happily when alone 😂 You should try Spiel mit mir about incest. Edit : I don't know if anyone told yet but when Till hits his knee like that, I read once that he did that to put back this knee in place by hitting this way, and the other band members made fun of this, so it kind of stayed a habit.
Brilliant! Thanks for your comments. I already said that, but again: I love it that you try to understand Rammstein. In case you want to get to know the band, I recommend the DVD "Rammstein: In Amerika". It should be available for you in US at Amazon Prime (and it should have english subtitles at the german interviews). It is about how/why they became so famous in America. Including interviews from Iggy Pop, Chad Smith, Steven Tyler, Moby, Korn, Kiefer Sutherland, some Producers... and many more, so great! For sure, I don't expect you to react to this here at youtube, as it is a 2 hour documentary, hence it is only for you if you are really interested. I would love to get feedback if you will have a look it or not.
I think I have to do a few more reactions to some of the songs from the concert that people have been telling me to do first though, or I won't be able to anymore.
Am I right that they are also talking about how Till and Flake were arrested after they performed Bück Dich live? (I am so glad my keyboard has ä, ü and ö already on it xD)

Weißes Fleisch is about assault and rape. Till Lindemann once said in an interview that he received a letter from a girl who was raped thanking him for making the song. "'She wrote that she could identify with the song, that was also in the index for a short while. I spoke about rape while she couldn’t. She had grown up with the idea that she had to keep that period from her youth a secret, and couldn’t tell anyone. Through my song, she understood she could talk about it. She was so grateful I had written that song. I still don’t understand what people get so excited about.'" Till Lindemann
Great Job! You interpret the lyrics in the rigth way, i think! I`m more interested in RAMMSTEIN for about 9 - 10 months now. Knew them before but, to be honest. i didn`t like Till`s voice and that`s why i wasnt very interested in the band. I`m a former singer and Till interpret "singin" differently than i did. But my mind has completly changed!! Since I happened to realize that some of their songs turned my deep sadness (my beloved wife died of this f***ing bi**h called cancer in December 19 after a long, hard fight) into a pleasant, positive aggressiveness, it`s like a drug to me! "Asche zu Asche" is one of my favorite songs. But there are so many... Now I have taken a closer look at the band by reading articles, watching interviews, etc. Really nice guys to me (i`m kinda weird, too :-) ). Seems like they never forgot where they came from. I really like that! And there is at least one more thing that fascinates me: No matter where they are playing, the crowd sings german! That is bringing people together! Great! These guys will never know, but they helped me a lot with their music! My kids love them too. Especially my almost 13 years old daughter. It`s always fun, rocking the street after i pick her up from school, by listening to RAMMSTEIN and singing loud together. And it feels great seeing her smile! Amazing, what music is able to do! Sounds weird, but RAMMSTEIN changed my life in a positive way a bit! Again: Great Video! Keep going!! Greetings from bavaria, germany!
