How to Delete PIN on Amazon FIRE TV (Forget PIN?)

Do you want to know how to delete or remove the security pin on the amazon fire tv! To do this, go to settings, then go to preferences and you can change the security pin by turning off parental controls or go to devices and software and then choose reset and select it and back out 5 times and you can factory reset without the PIN.

Good info, however there is a better and faster way than resetting to factory settings and losing your preferences. Simply go to Profiles => Manage, enter Amazon password, click Forgot PIN. Create new PIN, then use the new PIN to get into Preferences => Parental Controls. Then turn off Parental Controls.

for anyone looking to just remove the child pin you have to do this .....
if you have created a child pin without a child profile on your firestick then you must.....
Make a child profile
after making child profile go into the child profile and select child pin and click remove .
i know this is stupid and there should be an easier way to do this but for now this is how to do it
