Good to see a game company providing a rulebook WITHOUT a useless, ink-sucking, background. 👍👍 When you mentioned that the goal was to leave the area for new area I got a Twilight Zone image of as "you" are driving your bus out of the area you are passing another bus leaving that area and entering yours with you and the other driver staring at each other.
Well, technically you get both a version with the background, and one without!! I feel that this should always be the case! And yes I can see that "Twilight Zone"image hahahaha, I think the "Eureka" series had something similar!!
@@IthaquasBane Yes they did. In the first episode Zoe mentions to her father that it looked like "they" were in the car that passed them going the other way. This looped back around in the final episode when future-Zoe waves to past-Zoe as the future-Carters are leaving Eureka.
Once again another great video. Looks like an interesting game I will definitely be following it. I did have to laugh when you said you would never successfully completed a game because my first thought was oh it must be a nice game! Keep up the good work and keep putting the videos out and I'll keep coming to watch them
Many thanks for the kind words!! I've played 5 games so far (including the one in the video) and in the first 3 games I was completely wiped out by War Parties... that 4D6 is a killer!!! The 4th game saw the colony, Sprocket, surrounded on 3 sides by Impassable terrain and the 4th side had a Minefield blocking the exit and eventually ended up killing me. Actually, thinking about it, I may have played the Minefield wrong... it might only exist for a single turn/event (Travel Event)... I had thought the thing as a permanent feature... 🤣🤣🤣
@@IthaquasBane That sounds like the 4 most brutal playthroughs I've heard of. Must be those dice gods! What did you do to have been cursed by them? The minefield encounter only lasts that one turn. Thematically speaking, the Ferryman would know about that specific minefield being there at that point and will go around it. Each zone spans about 10-20 miles. Encounters/locations only remain in the zone if it says you may return here, but very few allow you to return.
@@nightbirdgames Yeah, that was the game I was mentioning to you before... good news regarding the minefield being 1 turn only, I was worried I was playing it correctly!! hahaha 🤣🤣
This is not the finished game; it represents the core gameplay. Additional features will be included (missions, companions, maps, etc) if we can reach funding. KS could support our efforts to enhance the game further. Many projects are already nearing or near to completion on KS. Hope this helps.
Beautiful! :) You explained the game fantastically! Couldn't be happier. Updating the rules as we speak based on your feedback.
😁😁😁
Liking this! I'll trundle over to kickstarter I think 👍. - Glad to see the dice rolling is your normal hilarious standard Scott!🤣😂
Cheers!! I... even... used.... different dice..... oi vey!! 🤣🤣

Is the rulebook and the various game sheets (as PDFs I assume) all that is being provided? If so, why is this even on KS?

@@nightbirdgames Already clicked on the KS and I planned on supporting you. Thanks for the reply.
@@timberry4709 Of course! I will try to answer any questions someone may have. Thank you for following the KS!
