I actually rewatched it multiple times and if you look really closely at 6:23 on the chip you can kinda see his tongue through the chip. As his tongue moves you can see the light blue of the jolly rancher through the chipped part leading me to believe that he actually broke his tooth. If it was just marker you wouldn't be able to see his tongue though the chip.
I wanna see a redo of this tbh. I loved the concept, you just forgot a middle and that’s why the sprinkles didn’t move afterwards because there wasn’t enough space for them to. Or maybe make the dough a little thicker. Either way a redo would be lit.
