My service centre told me that they did all the parameters set by the headquarters. Everything is alright and as per the SOP, all himalayan bikes pull towards the right below 65 speed. I don't know who to contact and how to solve this issue on my bike.
How aggressive is the pull? Mine was very aggressive even at high speed. If it is not very aggressive you need not worry. However if you are in Pune you can try Chopada Motors, Wagholi service center. Other than that: 1. You can visit any good tyre shop and check your wheel balancing(also trueing). most of the issues are due to wheel balancing. For many people having this issue RE has changed the tyre. 2. Get your suspensions cheeked, since both the suspensions are different, one handles compression and other handles dampening. So if they are not properly tuned they may cause an imbalance. 3. Lots of bikes from the initial lot had a cone set issue, so get it checked as well.
@@OnceARider pull is very aggressive. They are saying it's there in all himalayan bikes and it will pull to the right. I did a test ride after they kept it for 2 days, still the issue is there. However, they are saying it is resolved and the bike will pull towards the right below 65 speed. This was their response. I have asked them to give it to me in writing so I can follow up further. The Service Centre I'm talking about is in Goa - RE Garage Cafe (this is the official RE service centre and not the franchisee) Lets see what can be done
@adventuresofanoop Hi Anoop. Are you based out of Wagholi? I am also getting delivery of my motorcycle from Chopade Motors this weekend. How can I connect with you, mate?
I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but if you are asking ki tyre kis side ghisega agar bike right ki taraf pull kar rahi hai to, iska answer hai: tyre rigth side se hi ghisega jada, but ye effect bikes me na ke barabar hoga, ye effect 4 wheerlers me significant hota hai. Bike me right side ka pull issue multiple reasons se ho sakta hai For example: 1. Wheel alignment, balancing and trueing issue (most comment issues). 2. Fork missaligne issue. 3. Suspension travel. 4. Rear wheel missalignment. 5. Frame bent issue etc etc.. aur inka tyre ghisne me koi significant role nahi rahega jahan tak mujhe lagta hai.
For me it was Chopada Motors Wagholi, Pune. However the service center is not important, they are not allowed to work on the Himalayan, there is a special team called flyers from RE headquarters who work on the Himalayan issues. The service center guys just measure various parameters and make videos proving the issue and this report is shared with the Flyers and they suggest what to do. And lucky in my case the flyers were available at Bramha Motors so they took my bike there and got it fixed.
@@OnceARider I have gone through the same process, they just loosened my handel and gave my vehicle back, with a scratch on handel bar. I did it at Dhone Automobiles market yard. can you pls tell me exactly which serviceman looked at the issue so i can directly go to him. Thanks
