I actually grew up with mostly english friends from all over (London, Manchester, Blackpool, Essex, Leeds) so I'm quite used to the accent, but in terms of rappers I'm very familiar with I mostly listen to Kano, Aitch, Bugzy, Dave, Fredo, Skepta, Stormzy, JayKay, MoStack and AJ Tracey. This blurs the line between rap & book-club, high-brow, posh poetry. Just the first 2 lines "staring at horses" as in fine women; then "it's nice to be still, I've been "frankie detorri" (a champion horse racer from Italy) but also he is enjoying having a stale relationship after all the "frankly, D touring" in his life thus far (mentions it again later in the bar about taking the knee)
