I always wanna play with multi generations but then I get so stressed out with all the people to look after lol
I always end up focusing on like two sims and the others a kinda just on their own
Honestly, Sims in Sims 4 can take care of themselves pretty well
I usually use the smarter self care mod but atm it's broke and needs to be updated for new update.
Except they have children without you knowing
Same, I recently used mc command center to expand my household size to 12, and omg, it was so hectic😅
There are so many houses in the worlds and in the gallery that have WAY too many bedrooms for the family sizes I tend to have and it always bugs me, so being able to have people come stay makes me SO happy. Can’t wait to see friends and grandparents and such come use those guest rooms! 🤩❤️
Same! Or the house is utterly Giant but for 2 sims. which is just a waste of space!

I was so excited for the guest rooms until I had someone stay at my sims house and they LITERALLY DIDNT SLEEP AT ALL. This game makes me want to pull my hair out every update

I have the opposite problem. All the starter homes have 1-2 bedrooms, or even if you search “family home” there are only 2-3

@@lauraeliza1997 Theirs had the kitchen upstairs and a little kitchenette downstairs. Just a stove and faucet and some cupboards.
Bettin' she did some research and it wasn't just willy-nilly and that's adorable, frankly.
Maybe when EA adds accessibility, I wish this pack had small residential lifts and elevators. It’s become a lot more popular recently to add elevators for aging in place so you don’t have to overhaul a house so much. I design buildings IRL and accessibility should be a core to the design not an inconvenience.
I agree. I mean, I understand that it can take a lot of work to create accessibility in the game, but EA has the money and resources to do it. Especially since it’s a real life simulation game, and people with disabilities exist and deserve the same amount of visibility as able bodied people do.
I’d love to see ramps for small sets of stairs, and maybe pool steps that allow people to walk in and out of the water (I know I have trouble with ladders) and that would allow a shallow and deep area so we could teach toddlers to swim.
I’d love to see prosthetics! Wheelchairs (we already have Sims sitting, we know they can scoot around town because of bikes…)
I’d love to see some traits that contribute to disabilities also so invisible illnesses are represented also. ❤

This is one of my favorite builds that you have done. Each of your homes always have such strong personalities and this is giving me "my favorite relative" vibes. The one that you would spend the weekend at and not want to go home when your parents came to pick you up on a Sunday night. I don't know if that makes sense but I can't wait to play in it! :)

As someone from the SF Bay Area (east bay) Jessie you actually did amazing at capturing that particular older SF (idk what it's called but the one you made) house. I lived in a house that looked eaxctly like that (ours was a duplex with one space upstairs and one downstairs) and the big living room you made in the big front windows is spot on, we had a big room just like that so Jesse literally killing (as always)
I live in a house exactly like this, I’m in the upstairs part and my landlord downstairs! I’m on the Daly city/SF border and my whole neighborhood is these houses. I wish I knew the name of these houses LOL

You did a way better job of making this look like houses in the residential areas of San Francisco than a lot of the pack did!

This house is really making me miss when I lived in Washington state for a few months - the houses were SO colorful and silly with tons of windows and lots of strange angles and the entrance being on the second floor... man I'm feeling nostalgic 😭

I had an upside down house when I was a kid and it was wonderful. Mine and my sisters bedrooms were partially underground and I had a porthole window near the ceiling that was at ground level outside. I used to be able to watch my mum and sister's feet walk past the window whilst I was chilling in my room. I miss that house.

This build is SOO GOOD love the upside down house concept and how the living space looks so nice and lived in but not overcluttered and the bedrooms are such a perfect size cause I also have a big room pet peeve 😂

The outside shape and stairs reminds me of a pre-made sims 2 house, mainly because of the stairs. It was my favorite because the downstairs area was big enough for a bowling alley!

I've always played with generations, and I swear the house is never big enough, lol. My first gen lived in a starter home with 8 sims, and I somehow squeezed them in. This is an amazing bulid. When my next gen ages up, I will come back to this!
