Video footage of the Twin Falls Helitack crews 2013 fire season. The crew is based out of Idaho for initial attack, but will also travel all over the country for wildfire assignments.
Whats a timeline for a job like this ? I'm 17 my mother was part of US Forestry dealing with fires before she had kids. Now I wanna follow those footsteps

I pulled several security shifts for the sky crane at 4:30, and absolutely beautiful aircraft. I have pictures of the same aircraft with the same numbers down the side, never thought I'd get to see it in action lol
If you want to you can join the Army's helicopter pilots that's great fun. If your an Aussie I can share some info in how to get one with a couple degrees under your belt if your interested.
