I totally understand the panic attack thing. My mom used to pack us kids a "busy bag" before traveling. So now I'm sure to make my own busy bag....sans the crayons. 💚
Thank you for sharing your beautiful journal from Anne's challenge. It is so nice to see how you put this together for those of us doing Rachel and Sarah's journal of stitchery.
My sister in law was renovating an old house and found a tin of beautiful old laces and things which she gave me, I was wrapt. Your projects are perfect for using these treasures. Love the travelling stories, so funny and sounds like me…..🇳🇿😀
Oh wow. I did this same sew4thsoul project and I used a jelly roll as well. I often splurge on layer cakes, jelly rolls and charm packs. I find them really great for making slow stitching and other small projects. I love how yours has turned out. Oh and the laces are gorgeous ... great find there!! 💖
You inspire me. I would love to find some of those lace dollies you showed from the 2$ shop but those are hard to find here in the US and if I do, rather expensive.
They are getting hard to find here too.. crocheting is a lost art! I decided to teach myself a few years back so I can at least make a few. But my skills are basic so my dollies are basic.. lol. Thanks for your kind words Corrine
Noooo! I am very late to slow stitching. I used to crazy quilt and make quilts. Moved countries gave everything away and then saw some slow stitching. I have only made one piece, and I am doing Down the Garden Path. Now all I want to do is a book ..... this could become a problem! Your work is lovely, so lovely
Totally understand the panic attack. Recently went to Fraser Island for a week and packed a small bag of unfinished projects thinking that I would get them all finished but they didn't even come out of the bag. It was actually just great doing nothing and relaxing. Im from Maryborough
I know what you mean I take my projects with me I just took Roxy’s stitching and a travel journal to the Middle East and the Maldives can’t leave crafting behind ❤
Hi there new subbie here, I love your book it’s beautiful! I’ve learned so much from you today as I’m new to the slow-stitching world so you taught me what a jelly roll is and I really didn’t know what the # was all about either so I’m glad you brought that up... thanks for sharing
I think this is the first of your videos that I ever watched, and of course, I'm watching it again tonight. It's a really lovely project. I think it was enough to cause me to go looking for Anne Brookes and to become a subscriber to both you and Anne. I've actually run out of superlative adjectives to describe your work, but in short, I love it. One question for the forthesoul project, did you join the pages before they were stitched? (You probably said in your video.) 😊 Karen, Nova Scotia
Hi Karen.. thank heaps for the kind words.. from memory I did stitch the book together and then slip stitch it piece into position. you must check out my playlist .. Journey of Stitchery... I have a heap of videos in that folder that may interest you. currently I'm stitching Chrsitmas themes pieces,.. so much fun. Kind Regards Corrine
How are these journal used?? I would like to see one that has been used up. Is that possible? Because I don't really understand how one would use one..but they are beautiful. Or are they just to look at?
Hi .. they are not used like a normal journal.. they are a place to store your pieces you have created.. Having said that I have seen people stitch verses and comments into the pages! It’s a collection of your work made into a journal! It allows you to pick it up and flip thur you journal of stitchery… I hope that helps. Thanks for watching my video! Corrine
Just gorgeous. I live on the Sunny coast

Can’t believe every tutorial or many I should say have a cat crawling on their work table 🤦🏻♀️. Am I the only one highly allergic to them 🤣

Perdona la mia. Bello sì ma è tutto pizzi e merletti stoffa non ci si scrive sopra a cosa serve.
Hi.. no it is a place to collect fabric and stitches! Thanks for taking time to watch!
