Id like to see separate sections in the game. Like a race focused section of maybe 10 classes, formula, wec, gt, touring all with bop and ranked multiplayer. Then a career mode where you start in karting and decide a pathway. Casual mode for all cars and mods etc and Freeroam

This is the best way.
I just want the third iteration solid physics foundation, basic cars and tracks and the ability to let modders do what they will with it as they have previously. Then let the devs pile on the add ons as they see fit.
If they spread too thin and pander to the masses, it will end up like ProjectCars3 and nobody wants that.

I´m so hyped about new Kunos Engine and street cars PLUS even Legendaries.
The new 3D kerbs are looking phenomenal. Even wayy better as in ACC and ACC is best right now.
I can't wait for the new multi point tire sim! It has to be miles beyond Forza Motorsports' supposed incredible tire sim. As long as cars don't wipe out as soon as you go over the red and white curbs like in FM. (and ACC to a lesser extent) AC Evo will take over 99% of my drive time!
What id really like is a decent way to set up an online lobby. Portfowarding overcomplicates things as not everyone's network will allow it

I would like too see more involved career mode where you start from scratch in the slower cars, and the option to upgrade your road cars, no full sim has ever feature this or simulate that in any way, witch is one of the many reasons i always prefered gt to any other racing game, still looking forward to see what ac evo has on offer,

Yes, Kunos has always had the absolute worst, most unfun career mode ever. It's really cosmetic. Just look at Gran Turismo's career mode. It really isn't much different from AC except that AC's career mode is super frustrating like it's some kind of real life sim or something! Gah! Too much reality! How can you make someone get stuck because they lack skill??? No game does that, except a stupidly hardcore sim!!! grrrrr!!!!!! I just ask for a rewind button!!!!!!
Should be great yes, people are funny with change.. nothing wrong with still keeping & playing other games but looking at what Kunos has done over the decade then you can guess EVO will be an excellent driving sim.
We desperately need a Gran turismo style sim. Where u take a road car and go racing to afford uprgardes.. with good physics of course... where u can feel the upgrades effect the car.. the screen shots look amazing

The way they detail their cars and tracks is as good as how Polyphony Digital does it for their Gran Turismo series. Probably better.
Not better pd still has slighly more details but its close, its the first game we seen that even come close to gt7 car detail.
I don't believe in stills and promo vids. Forza Motorsports made their game look so incredible in their fradulent promotions, and upon release, it looked like a 20 year old game! I'll only believe the actual released gameplay videos from the credible Jardier!

I want AC Evo to have the best tire sim ever!!!! And yes, I hope it destroys iRacing in every way possible! lol. I can't believe so many brain deds subscribe to iRacing, and they still have a 10 Hz or something horrible feedback. All these decades and they are still on iRacing 1. Are you kidding me? Where is all the income from the monthly subscriptions going? and the over $2000 it takes to buy every track and car??? Someone is getting rich and trickle down economy isn't working here...
If they make it possible to transfer the mod tracks and cars from AC1 straight into AC2 that would be a smart move and I hope they do it if it's even possible. Even if the graphics won't look great on old mods just making them transferable would kick start AC2.
If they're going for Gran Turismo for PC, that could work. If its fighting AC1 for the same players, there is an uphill battle ahead, imo.
I hope to see AC EVO to give back to ACC owners who purchased recent DLC. It would be a shame to abandon this content in exchange for the new kid on the block.
ACC was pretty much a test on unreal engine, which wasn't very liked by the developers so they have gone back to their own game engine just like the original assetto is, obviously it's an updated better version

nah. I'm sure you can turn graphics to min and still enjoy good frame rates. Besides, I can't wait to get into the car files and mod them stupidly and have incredible stupid fun that even BeamNG doesn't allow! I can't wait to have stupid soft springs and stupid high suspension and try to survive on the crazy bumpy Nords!!! ( CAN YOU IMAGINE IF AC EVO HAD NEGATIVE EARTH GRAVITY AND THE SUN'S GRAVITY like in BeamNG??? 🤯😅🤣😂)

in-game wont be same quality as renders; also gameplay vs showroom, showroom will always look better. Much less to process in a showroom. Stoked for the game to be realeased
At this point I have no reason to doubt kunos. If there's a great server list and lobbies it will be outstanding. Cannot wait. Considering how many console players there will be I hope they are included as much as possible
Even if AC Evo is literally just AC but on a 64 bit engine, it'll be better than AC.
The biggest thing holding back the most ambitious AC mods is the 32 bit engine. See that camera shake on large tracks like Shutoko? Thats because of the 32bit engine not being able to handle the tracks scale.
to be honest i preferred the acc style of game that is focused on a single class of racing but i understand its not for everyone so since its probably similar to ac1 i’d like a “reward system online” just to give u an objective outside of win the race for the sake of it and drive around.
AC1 is doing so well because of the hype on ac2. They are going to cash in big time as long as the game is good.
A fleshed-out and fun career mode would be like fresh air in the sim genre. Hopefully they nail the controls and physics like in original AC and add better AI.
Any game that teases with the Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II is a straight win in my eyes, that thing is beautiful! Exciting times ahead!

AC evo need to put Car crashes in one corner so they all can crash together,& a points system based in multyplayer.
I've been stuck on iRacing for a year, but I always like to hop on Ac and ACC to chill here and there. Cant wait for Evo to come out to have a new game to discover, I'm sure it'll be great!!

The confirmation arrived just after I've bought a BMW 323ti... I could have saved that money 🤣 Now I will start spending on car upgrades and on sim gear upgrades and GPU, monitor... This will test my marriage for sure
I honestly hope that the single seater cars, especially F1 cars will COMPLETELY OBLITERATE anything we've seen before. Especially when the top 2 modders (RSS and VRC) will release their F1 cars into the game. It always hurt me that in AC the cars made by these two were so much better than the ones we've seen in EA F1 games, and yet it didn't push EA to even try to get to that level. Maybe even we will get licensed F1 cars in AC Evo someday, just like the Ferrari DLC for AC.

Thing about this that piques my interest is the shot at Imola that is specifically focused on the wet grass off track showing the soil turned to mud. Makes me wonder is the off track physics going to be more advanced in the rain with the potential to get bogged down or at the very least much more slippery with mud being dragged back on track?

I'D LOVE AC Evo to be something like GT7 or Forza Motorsport. With safety ratings and focused on online competitive racing but with more cars.
As a PS5 ACC player, I'll be a passive observer of the hype-to-boredom cycle that will unfold before I can even play the game.
I was sooo freaked out when you just went into ACC and "flew" over the forest to the exact corner and in two tenth of a second, turned around! 🤯😰😱😰😭😭😭 It just proves you're an alien 👽 and you've been in a 🛸 flying over the track hundreds of times!!! My brain broke!🤯😵💁♂🧏♀
I also 100% agree AC Evo will be incredible! I really, really can't wait! 🤤🤤🤤 I think ACC is too fast for me, so I can't wait for AC Evo so I can do the Miata, 240SX, Porsche 924, etc. More my speed until I start to "get" what's going on in sims. I can totally tell the difference between ACC and Forza Motorsports. I have had hours of fun messing around in the car files in AC, and I can't wait to do the same stupidity in AC Evo!!!

If they kept, or upgraded, the current driving model and then added in a proper multiplayer system, I would happily leave iRacing and never look back.

AMS 2 is doing things at the moment for me, AMS 2 does VR in such a bad ass way, All I puts on is AMS 2 using the Quest 2, And it is only a Quest 2, I can only imagine what a Pimax and 4090 would be like on AMS 2 in Ultra in VR, But yeah I ain't got no high end PC, An i5 12600k and a 12gb 3060, Oh and 32gb of ram which makes a huge difference from 16gb, In Fact I was thinking of trying to get 64gb of ram, But I think the fact the 3060 I got is the 12gb version, Helping with the VR, Virtual Desktop is fantastic on Steam, Woke my Quest 2 right up, Also the TP-Link AX3000 AX55 Archer Wifi-6 Router have done wonders for the Sim Racing online, TP-Link AX 3000 is a pretty decent router for the price it is.....
Plus AMS 2 got the 1.6 update with IMSA, And I hear AMS 2 is going to be on LFM yeah, I do hope AC EVO is a good game, AC 1 seemed to be top in VR, You need a pretty good GPU and CPU to do VR on ACC, I seems to have issues, And after doing Sim Racing in VR, I can't go back to the TV screen, I got a WaveVR Elite 5000mah battery strap for my Quest 2 and it is o comfy I can sim race for hours non stop, I even bought a 38inch tower fan for the sweat out moments, With a Fan on you it is all good, After all racing without a VR on can make you bust a sweat out, Take the rallying for example, Oh by the way Dirt Rally 2 in VR is again flipping fantastic, So for me, If the Sim Racing isn't VR I won't be doing my TV racing again, I even stopped playing Beam coz the VR is so flipping terrible, Why they can't get Beam in VR right is beyond me when Euro Trucks is now in VR as well, lol, By the way Euro Truck 2 is great in VR for a chillax afternoon drive in a Lorry, I hear you can use cars on Euro Truck as well, But yeah it won't be long before a VR head set will come out purely for Sim racing where the VR headset is so small it won't get in the way of Sim Racing so to speak, A pair of glasses that is VR, I don't think will be long, You cannot get any closer to real life Sim Racing than VR, You can even become faster in VR, Learning corners better, I am improving since I been doing VR, I would tell anyone if they could afford it that is, To grab a Quest 3 or even a Quest 2 is still bad ass if you got a decent GPU or VR ready PC, And can get one, You will be VR converted in an instant lol, At least I was, lol....

So so so excited for this! And I don't know if anyone feels the same way, but we need a *real* campaign in this game. Like you start with a shitty car and work your way up to the nice ones, with some story elements that bring new game mechanics and such... Anyone, let's see what they give us

so mega excited for this, looks better than acc, and ffb has come almost a decade since ac1 was release, with the right mod tools and base game this could be absolutely insane, the tracks detail look absolutely insane.
Are we really getting excited about static screenshots and details we will never see while racing? This is all literally the least important aspect of a driving game.
@@truantrayphoto mode is a huge part of AC1 due to the high graphic fidelity, so yes the details matter a lot

I said at least two or three years ago that AC2 would immediately win over everyone from AC1 if they released the game with AAA visually jacked versions of mods like Shutoko, LAC, Tsukuba Fruits, etc.
the versions of those tracks that are in AC1 are ripped from other AAA games as is the case with the majority of mods in AC or any game for that matter. Unless Kuno's completely remodeled them from scratch this would be legally impossible

There are plenty of hugely popular mods that aren't ripped from other games - that excuse doesn't stand up to scrutiny.
@@thesprawl2361 these are the minority not the majority and they don't represent the norm in the ac modding community at all. What scrutiny? you listed 4 examples out of literally thousands of mods.. The overwhelming majority being from either Gran turismo or Forza among other various mobile games. This isn't even debatable.
You can go through ACMP and you'll see endless examples of those games being credited.

@@thesprawl2361 You listed a map in your comment that is built off and is using assets from a triple A title. And you're not the first person to say this, which means there is a clear misunderstanding among general players about how and where the mods they use come from.
The average player doesn't know the difference between something that is scratch modeled and something that is ripped off from another game. So when people ask for shutoko in AC EVO they don't understand the legal implications for what they are asking for.
I just hope they add just a simple thing that should have been in number 1 sector times but probably not.
My biggest wish is that you can change your car while still in a session because having to rejoin to change your car with people snatching them before your eyes is a little annoying

6:50 x4fab i believe is making 50k a month off patreon. Peter boese is making around 40k a month. The reality is Kuno's can't afford these guys. And i wouldn't expect either of them to throw away that kind of salary
That's not how that works lmao Kunos definitely can grab them lmao because to them that price is not a lot ACE costs 6× more than them

@@Wyn3e No I'm sorry but you're absolutely incorrect. The average salary of a game dev is around 100k annually, x4fab makes that in two months. That is an insane salary for any game studio to pay for a single dev. This is absolutely a factor in why he chooses to stay independent

I agree, i actually think it will take a while for EVO to be good. But i still have faith it will one day be the best.
To be honest I expect it to be good on launch. They have a lot of experience now and more resources than ever before.

We want Custom, and grid liveries names for riders etc like it had first ac,,, coop multiplayer and championship and with addition preset which team will crash or which car will broke down so creat good experience with my friends arso warmp up laps cool downs and safety cars and posibility to like do everything around customization, basicly me and my friends love to creat own cup own teams also for AI's custom championship number of cars choose lyveries etc.

I would like this game to not need a 4090 xltit to run it properly in VR. acc looks terrible on my pc in vr but ams2 and ac look amazing. yeah i hope you dont need a £1600 graphics card for this evo or itll be 5 years down the line before i can gwt on it.
