Amazing property. Getting such a big carpet area with forest view in metropolis (atleast close to it) can not be better. Only downside to Thane is the crowd , traffic and travelling. Kudas for another great episode Vishal!
Thane is far underpriced I feel. Thane is an ecosystem in itself. There are corporates and industries like no other micromarket on the outskirts of Mumbai. Not everyone in Thane needs to travel to Mumbai for work. Moreover, Metro Line 4 is in full swing.
Not bad at all, paying 32000 pm in Thane for 1300 sq ft. But the major drawback, spending 25k-35k for commuting per month really damages your pocket. Natural light coming in every room but you didn't show their kitchen(the second most imp part of any house)

You seem to have a bias to Mumbai. But most Thanekars are proud of the place , facilities, green spaces , good schools , etc. so for those who think Thane is the poorer cousin , I beg differ . It is way more beautiful and happier place to live in…
Born and brought up in Thane, I never understood why Thane is considered inferior cousin of Mumbai as it has all the facilities since even when I was a child, without the downsides of pollution, also geographically if you see the map Thane city is within the present day Island district of Mumbai. Living in U.K. for past 15 years but will be going back to live only in Thane city, even though affordability is not the issue.
Yes u are right even i was shocked that 1300 carpet cannot be so small. This is definitely 850-900 carpet like you said and then rent they pay gives logic to that.. No way can 1300 carpet cost you just 32k rent. The first bedroom was half bedroom so technically this was a 2.5 bhk
That view is mesmerizing! Anyway, Vishal, Thane is no longer a poor cousin or any such silly comparison to Mumbai. In fact, people prefer to stay there or the more developed Navi Mumbai for a better lifestyle as Mumbai city is getting costlier by the day with terrible infrastructure.

Interesting take. I don't care if I have even a small 250 sq. ft apartment as long as it's mine. I have had very troublesome landlords in Mumbai who can kick out tenants any time. No security or peace of mind. And imagine being very ill and the landlord evicting you. Thanks but no thanks.
Am sure it doesn't stay within that plate 24x7. It's an open plate, not a cage. Turtles take time to open up (pun unintended) and are shy, they move even less with unknown surroundings. With the presence of the camera crew and all, it's more likely to be in its safe place than move about. We saw barely a few seconds of it and am sure the family takes care of it well. But imagine before the rescue it was being used as a shuttlecock! Humans have no limits when it comes to cruelty.
