  • Time to fall in lobe! You read that right. Let’s dive into neuroanatomy. It sounds like something a smart person should know about, like YOU. We’ll go over all of the major parts of the brain, including the occipital, temporal, parietal, and frontal lobes. And we’ll even cover some of the other structures that get taken for granted. You’ll find it’s…insane in the brain!

Thank you sooo much for this!!! Yeah...I'm a little late...well a few YEARS (actually, it was made BEFORE my TBI 2.13.16) but this is AWESOME!!! You're whole channel is *fantastic* as I start to dig in and learn so much!
My short-ISH story....I was a software engineer in San Francisco that has just lost 160 pounds, learned how to code, and started 'over' in life. I had just found some great people by signing up for the AIDS/Lifecycle Bicycle ride - from San Francisco to LA over 7 days. It's a wild story....but basically, I had a cycling accident - on a training ride - and almost died. Doctors gave me a 5% chance of survival.
Basically, I'm a researcher....and I LOVE to learn new information! But I've been coming up short on MY injury - DAI. I'll just shut up now and say THANK YOU FOR THE CONTENT!!!

To make a human like electronic brain we need such different types of processing units!

The problem with unfolding the cortex is that you can never get it folded back up the right way again.

I'm just wondering if you were going to mention deeper things, for example, the 4th ventricle making way to the cerebrum, or how the hypothalamus also controls food consumption I know these are all things you would mention in the next video but you should talk a bit deeper once some people understand.(I'm 12 just so you know and in honors science 7th grade biology you don't need to ask how I know this stuff, although a bunch of people do already).I don't mean to be offensive your videos are great! But still I bit deeper thought could mean a lot

I’d like to know what happens in the brain of dyslexics and people with dyscalculia. Why can’t the brain process these particular info’s? Does the lack of oxygen at birth affect this, as I’ve been told, and if so how, or what is going on in there? My spacial awareness is also affected, meaning things like drawing is a pain because I cannot see the whole picture, pun intended, lol.
