I think I just found my favorite type of vlogs. I use to be terrified of the dentist but this made my get a better understanding of actually what happens. I’m actually contemplating about changing my major because I’m actually interested in keeping teeth clean and helping people with their smiles

@@aleahyoung6035 the prerequisites were not that hard they are definitely doable. The ones like anatomy’s do microbiology require a lot of studying though.

Hey girl hey!! A tip we learned in hygiene school for making the trays was wait to drop the tray material once it's about a C cup 🙈😂. Between that and using the damp towel around the margins, we had great results every time

Yeah I love when you take us to work with you I enjoy seeing you set up and sterilized your work space🥰 but I thought you had an assistant when charting 🤔 but glad to see you can multitask 👍those gowns can keep you really hot and sweaty especially if it has the plastic lining 😩but we normally put the A/C on the coldest so we won't sweat 👍thanks for sharing and enjoy your goddaughter birthday when it comes around 🥰🥰

Yesss I loved this content, I’m a Ortho assistant thinking about transitioning to hygiene so it was nice to see a typical work day I’m sure it’s different for all offices though. Girlllll I always had trouble with pouring models and making retainers so I feel that when you said you had to keep starting over, practice makes perfect!
Also the gas in Maryland is scarce at the moment it’s ridiculous.

I think you waited until the waves left in the plastic while it was heating up and formed that bubble on the bottom, that’s when you drop it, turn the heat off and vacuum

Thank you for the video I looove your videos. As far it goes with the gas crisis I’m from Myrtle Beach SC and we have a spring rally going on and all the gas stations have been depleted. It’s like sporadically you can find a gas station with gas but the lines are ridiculous. I’m like you, I’m not even stressing it honestly and I work 20 almost 30 min from home but it’s all good because God has us. Thanks again for the video❤️

also! as far as making trays goes, I think you smacked it down at exactly the right time, where it's very stretched, turn on the vaccume before you go down, and keep the heat on as you smack down, then turn it off ! you did a great job!

You look so gentle. I went to get my teeth cleaned and this lady sliced my gums omg! I kept telling her but she just said its bc my teeth are so close but I was in pain when I left. I havent gone to get them cleaned since I went and bought some oral hygiene tools and diy it lol💀 I was traumatized. That was in Dec 2019 girl Im still scarred😂
Omg girl 😩 you have to go back , I’ve had patients tell me I’m so gentle and they’ve had a bad experience too so I understand but if you stay away too long that’s when issues start ! ❤️
