This tutorial is made by Design software, that is Tekla Structural Designer

I recommend you to learn Tekla Structures in jobs point of view.

I am in tekla structures designer and can't find the 'application and component' menu.
Tekla Structures is 3D Modeling and Detailing Software.
Tekla Structural Designer is Designing Software.
Application and component menu is only available in Tekla Structures software, not in Tekla Structural Designer software.

No, it is not in different environment. It is in different software (Tekla structural Designer).
You are using Tekla structures, both are different software's.

Hello sir! I download and install my tekla structural designer from getintopc.com and the only thing that is not working is the update connections... when I click that is telling me software has a problem and it shuts down.. how can I fix it ? Or what can I do? ..thanks for the great videos btw...

@@GaniSk Absolutely great content Sir. I am not an engineer or a designer. But out of curiosity i have started to work on my own industrial shed so as to make sure that the BOQ supplied by the contractor is not excessive. Although my designs keep failing the validation tests, I changed columns from SC250 to UKC 305, then a few columns cleared the slenderness test. But then again, beams show baulking failures.

All design software's out remains same, but procedure, flexibility and time taking for design might be varies between different design software's.

Shld it be bolts or welds, if bolts how many!? How shld we design that!
You need to do manual calculation for bolts according to forces applying on building at connection locations

To show hidden panels, click on Scene Content tab placed on right side of the window as shown in this tutorial and check mark panel option.

Without design you can't do modeling and detailing
How to apply the foundation bolts in this version
You can't apply bolts in tekla structural designer, you need to take the support reactions, according to that value, designer need to calculate how many bolts and size required at the location. otherwise you can use Tekla Tedds software for connection design.

How to model PEB in Tekla Older version with Tapered Columns and Rafters?
Making PEB model in Tekla new version and old version procedure remains same, but you should have PEB extension tool, that means you have download and install PEB extension tool according to the version of Tekla software you have installed.
