  • RECIPE
    1 onion
    40g garlic ginger paste
    3 chillies
    1 cinnamon stick
    15 curry leaves
    3tbsp chopped coriander
    1/4tsp fenugreek seeds
    500g lamb mixed bone
    1 tomato
    3heaped tbsp curry powder
    3-400ml water
    3 medium potatoes cut in half
    Salt to taste

    Hello Shelina it’s just a pleasure to watch you prepare our gourmet Mauritian 🇲🇺 delicacy. Especially for amateur n ridiculously rubbish cook . I just wanted to let u know that u make it look so simple for people who are learning how to make Mauritian food 🙏( in a very simplified way) n keep going , it’d be lovely to see u make any other dishes. U make us proud.

      I belive there is a mauritian store in croydon. West croydon to be specific. Hope it is still open. I saw the store a few years back when i was on vacation in England.

    Loved the recipe, but please for the love of god, use a chopping board when you pierce the chillies!

    Use stone ground home made masala,.you can't beat a that taste,curry powder you buy from shop doesn't cut the mustard

    U should hve added the tomatoes at last...it would hve thicken the consistency of the gravy.
