Looks pretty good. But if it's not fully painted with diecast to give it a premium look and weight I'll just stick with my vintage one. I want a true masterpiece version.

It looks AWESOME! Just a Real Shame that it's not 4 inch Joe size. I was really hoping it was. My wallet thanks them that it isn't. I loved MASK as a kid, had a few, but sadly because they weren't the same size as my Joes, I wasn't overly interested. The SIZE is one of the BIGGEST Mistakes that they made. VERDICT, besides the FACT that it's Under Small, the $170 Price Point has me saying HARD NO. The Ramen Racer as well. Just too much.
I think it was good to go with the same scale as the original. They will not remake every kenner version so the ones they make will compliment and enhance an existing collection. It would be cool to get them in 3.75 scale but that would have cost well over $200 and would not sell well
Seems like a nice set. Don't know if I'll get into this line. At the moment I don't even know where I could buy them. But I might get Mayhem's jet/chopper. I always was most impressed by that transformation. Although a flying car was always ubercool too.
I wouldn't mind if ramen also do a 6" figures only line of mask. A more detailed of their helmet and figures to mix in with my joes or marvel legends would be fun.
I had a bunch of these when I was a kid and want to collect some of them. 175 seems a little steep for this car and action figure. I was figuring it was going to be something like 50 to 75 bucks. Either way I will get a few of these but damn thats going to be expensive.

The price on this toy doesn't make sense to me when compared to masterpiece transformer, sure it is big but it doesn't do very much and isn't really complex to make. Do you know how many units Xtransbots or Fanstoys make on a particular model, sat like Cyclonus or their Perceptor? Is it as low as 2000 or do they make more?
I think MP Transformers are around 5000 to 6000 for the first run and then they do multiple recolors and reissues down the road. There really is no recolor of this that would sell another 2000 units

The Great White had better be in scale with the old vehicles or I won't be buying it. I've waited 35 years for a gloria baker shark and it would be just typical they made it too big
They should have just made it 1:18th scale. For the size of it, compared to the vintage, if the figures are the same size, it's a fail to me, because this won't fit with the old line very well.
They will not remake the entire run of Kenner so these will fit in with an existing collection. I would love to see bigger mask but those probably would not sell well. I am quickly learning if they made their own version of obscure rare ones like Lazer command, Wolfbeast those would not even sell the minimum order quantity so they will not be remaking the whole line

To be honest, I think Hasbro, since they bought Kenner should have made M.A.S.K. into a special branch of the GI Joe team to go against Cobra's new special unit, V.E.N.O.M. The name fits in with Cobra, it kind of makes sense, the back stories can even maybe still all work with some tweaking. Hasbro should have just made 1:18th o-ring versions of most of the IPs, so they could all work together.

I went and got the preorder! I loved mask growing up. It’s a bit expensive, but if only 2000 are made I guess that’s how they make their money.

They did make it look more and scale like a 3rd gen Camaro pretty damn good.
I think that Prototype may be worth a lot more (eventually) than the production run, take good care of it, freeze it in carbonite or something.
