Hi JB, please respond...i have a 1972 p quarter that you describe for the 1971 p quarter double die reverse, are there any known examples. If not, what if i submit it for grading, will they make it a new variety if it's found to be authentic.
Good evening JB! You get this a lot I know but I legitimately have a 1971-D, DDO Washington Quarter “In God We Trust” is doubled and definitely not mechanical doubling. You’re a busy man so if you happen across this comment and would like to see the coin I’d be happy to share it with you. PCGS isn’t showing the DDO as a variety for the 1971-D so if in your opinion it’s the real deal it could be worth a pretty penny.......... lol!! Thanks for your time and love your videos bud! Keep em coming I’m still learning 🤘✌️

I'm weighing all 1971D's I find for the "orphan." Are the 1971's valuable you asked? Wow, the excitement generated by this video rivals that of Christmas morning! THANKS again.
Great video, just started coin collecting with my grandsons and didnt realize so many different types of errors for the 1971 quarter. So yes the 1971 quarter are valuable and worth looking for. Another coin to find...

Yes! 1971 quarters are valuable. I wrote down each one you said and condition and their selling price in a notebook. Thank you for teaching me about this important coin. I have been collecting pocket change for about 1year now.
I believe 1971 quarters are valuable now and no doubt after people watched this video will look their change now and check if they got “1971 quarter.” I am a follower since you post informative video and makes me learn how to spot error coins and other valuable coins. Thanks for sharing your knowledge about coins. More power to your channel!
Its good your doing videos on quarters because a lot of people are looking for the w quarter like me yesterday had a 70 something quarter with no p mintmark had to look it up thought I had an error
Thank you guys so much for these informative videos. I’m a recently retired/disabled police officer from KY, and have always been fascinated with star notes. I’ve collected them for several years to leave to my son when I’m gone. Since I’ve been retired, I’ve been very seriously thinking about starting to metal detect as a hobby. So, before I bought one, I started watched a few of you guys on here to see some of the does and fonts... From that, the coin bug hit me.. So now I watch both metal detecting and you all that deal with currency all the time. I’m immediately addicted!! Lol.. Went today and bought $200.00 worth of rolled quarters ( which I will be emailing you about, I think I have a great one!! ) But from everything I’ve been watching, reading and learning about... Yes, I absolutely do believe that 1971 quarters can be expensive!! Thank you all for ALL the info you put out!! God bless!!
Hi J$B loved this video, didn’t think there was so many error coins in 71 quarters. Definitely going to start searching them tonight. Thank you for all your information, great stuff.
I definitely think the 1971 p & d are valuable, I just didn't know they were that valuable. Great video and very informative. Thanks for all the info and I'll definitely be looking through my quarters again.
Also watched the video about 1959 pennies as I found 2 just yesterday, one with full steps. The other has a break in the steps. One brown, the other brown with red. I am excited!
This is valuable and I will be excited to find one. I will keep on searching. Perhaps, it can help pay for my pending car repairs. Lol. Thank you for your great info,JBC. Grateful.
I have to say the 1971 quarter is extremely valuable, which is great news as I save every one of them I get in change or rolls!! Awesome news, awesome video!! Thanks J& B!!
I've collected only 4 1971 d quarters over my 2 years on collecting coins... I know now for sure that the 1971 quarters are and can be very valuable! Thanks for this awesome share of info!

I AM NEW AT THIS AND I FEEL THIS VIDEO OF 1971 QUARTERS WAS VARY INFORMATIVE I LEARNED A LOT FROM IT AND LOOK FORWARD TO MORE OF YOUR VIDEOS THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INFORMATION
I’m amazed at the prices that you get on some coins that are in the five digits range and here only two ever found were not big money coins. I think for $0.25 it’s a great return, but I expected you to say a shockingly high number return At auction and it didn’t. I didn’t hear you speak of anything beyond like $3000. I’m amazed and even disappointed that they aren’t more valuable at auction as I seen some things you spoke of that absolutely floored me especially being so new in year it was minted. No matter what I certainly wouldn’t complain if I had one to sell, especially when people listen to your videos and learn a little bit more and it’s it’s it’s resounding just might bring the prices up higher for I think that they are worthy of it. Cool video, great info
they must be valuable Papa collects 70s 80s and 90 quarters with eagles on them because them his eagle quarters now I get to go and look to see if we have a 71 in any of those conditions thank you very much and have a good to Union and happy Hunting

Awesome!!. Best info I’ve ever seen, would compare to value of a gold coin as like any ‘71 quarter will never be passed over too quickly without a treasure like scrutiny
I think 1971 quarters are valuable because it is my favorite uncle's birth year. He is the one that got me into coin collecting so of course I think they are awesome!
love your videos. Yes the quarter is valuable and im going to be looking at all my 1971 quarters more carefully now. thanks for all the info you share.
Interesting video that talks about the 1971 mint varieties for the Washington Quarter. It is unbelievable how the 1971 D Doubled Die Reverse was so elusive. Great video.
I would really love to have this set. I live on the east coast and we rarely see any "S" mint marks!! I also would love a Carson City coin!!!! I'm pretty sure they're out of my price range!!! I'll have to look to see what years that they are though. I've found a few pennies like that over the years and I've kept them (90s pennies). And now I'm excited to go find them in my collection. And thank you for telling me what the look for and what it's called. And please do count me in on the giveaway. Thanks for posting this wonderful & informative video Mr. J and Mrs. B. 😎👍

wow never thought a 1971 would go for that much I'm looking at the few I have Thanks J&B
Yes, I did know that a lot of 1970’s coins weren’t struck as sharp as the Denver coins. But did not know the 71’s $$$ until now, thanks for the research and sharing!
I like to watch your videos, but it's a ton of info to remember I'm not really good at all of keeping all that information in my mind that's why I watch your videos every day over and over again, thanks for the information.
Nice video, and some of the 1971 quartera are worth some nice cash, time to check my pocket change. Thanks J&B
Hi JB yes I know about the 1971 ddr Quarter I think I might have one. I’ll have to check it again under the microscope ? Thanks for the great video it reminded me to do just that. Jim in NJ.

Yes i think 1971 quarters are valuable ty for the great information as always J and B
Thanks J&B for the information on the Quarters. I will look at mine. I think i only have one. Yes the coin can be valuable, especially a graded one.
I have been collecting coins since I found a shiny new 1969 Lincoln penny. Way back when! For some reason, I have always been really keen on the 1971 Quarter. Something about that date really attracted me to them. I have about 300 of them and I assure you I will take them out and examine each one very carefully now!
