The garden looks just wonderful. Got a little teary-eyed when you were talking about Katie and Corie being good mothers. They've had excellent examples in you, Granny and Miss Cindy. And they know and love the Lord which is a strong foundation.
Thank you so much!
Someone said to me when I was young... sometimes life can spin on a dime.... now I'm much older, and I believe that never a truer word was spoken ❤
Your garden is looking great! Can’t wait to see how much the Lord blesses it! God bless your precious family! 😀❤️
Thank you so much!
Love being in the garden with yall. It encourages me. You cant beat fresh food out of your own garden.
I think a lot of my mom when May comes. She preferred tending to her flowers and vegetables over housework though our house was always spotless. I think she enjoyed the outdoor work not only for its beautiful flowers and providing food but it was a place for her to talk with God as she worked.
Tipper you have inspired me to plant a garden again. I am 80 years old and have trouble getting out and about but it is amazing what one can do with determination. I get on my riding lawn mower and garden. I have green beans, squash, tomato plants, pumpkin and a row of jambalaya okra. So thankful that God has given me this privilege. Gardening is my hobby and it brings me so much joy to watch the plants produce.
That is so wonderful! I admire you!!
Will y'all plz pray for my son tku

Absolutely love spring planting and flowers enjoyed this for sure
I can't wait to see all the wonderful flowers and vegetables you grow this year ❤
Mom always had a half row of Dill growing on the north east side of the garden. O my ! It smelled so good when a light breeze wafted through. We used to make Dill Bread 🍞🍞.
Us "kids" were Blessed to learn about gardening and even Weeding 😅 from Our Parents.
Not to say that we didn't complain about pulling weeds. That's All part of it 🤣
😊
What are greasy beans?
@@JoFields-mh2ze A variety of green beans 😊 they have a slightly greasy looking sheen on the pod 😊
You are amazing, Tipper. You and Matt are worker bees, busy every minute. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I will keep coming back to see how your flowers and veggies are growing.
Love all the new stuff you are growing. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! God bless!
Thanks so much
I always love your videos, Tipper. You are so calming for me. Can't wait to see all the blooms come up!
Thanks so much
Your vegetables & flowers will be beautiful this year. You've put a lot of thought & care into the planning of your gardens & the spring/early summer rains have given them a good start. Katie could be nothing but a wonderful momma to Ira because of all the good influence she had while she was growing up. Between you, Granny & Miss Cindy, she saw what it means to be a great momma to her baby. Corie will be the same. Hugs!
So nice of you! Thank you 😊
4 o'clocks are one of my favorite flowers.
They are really nice.
I call them seven o clocks, because that's when mine open. 😂
They come back every year, beautiful flowers.
I absolutely love you, your family and any video that you decide to do!! Please tell your husband and daughter to make a video on making that oil you talked about. God bless each one of you!!!!💕🕊🌈💐🙏😀😃🎉🎊🎇🎆💐💐💐💐💐💐
Cilantro with tomatoes, onions, corn, best salsa - even cooked black beans!
And lime juice!
Your plants will straighten back up. Nature takes care of our efforts. 🙏🏻
That awesome Matt and your tractor - what a valuable tool! 👍⚘🙂 As always, love your channel and uplifting content. Smiles and grins to Paul and Granny too!
It’s going to be so beautiful, and all of those potatoes really make me hungry!😃

I know we're not entitled, but i hope every video to see a glimpse of Baby Ira. 😊 I'm just a sucker for new babies. I really enjoyed this video Tipper. I learn something new with your videos.
Prayers ❤
Everything looks great!!! Good job!!!!
Can't wait to see all of your beautiful flowers! Definitely plant the cypress vine, fast growing delicate vine with great foliage & dainty red star flowers. I think you'll love it. Give it something to climb on.
The flowers will be beautiful! You always have such a lovely yard and garden. I love the garden tours and am looking forward to those. My favorite thing, though, is the sound a handful of green beans makes while being dropped into a bucket! 🌸🌻🌼🏵💮🌽🌶
Me too! I love that sound!
That is a great sound! Thank you 😊
Always enjoy going around the garden with you!
You are the most wonderful lady Tipper! God bless you.
Wow, thank you!
Have you ever tried cooked radishes? I was gifted a daikon radish one year and didn't know what to do with all that radish. So, I looked it up and sure enough, it can be cooked. We tried it and fell in love with it. It is so good. We have gotten my father, who does not like radish to try it and he loves it like that too. We will steam any type of radish too, not just the daikon ones. Just an idea for those that don't like radish.
You can also roast them along with your other root vegetables in the oven and they taste like potatoes I think.
I never have but need to try them 😊
I never have but need to try them 😊
Daikon radish is great pickled Korean style
Glad. There was no more damage than that I know your excited about your garden
My mom always loved her flowers, I'm sure all you have planted will be beautiful.
Tipper, yesterday I was watching The Arms Family you tube channel. They live in Oklahoma & blanket flower is their state wildflower. Also, I too love horseradish. In fact I make a turkey & Swiss cheese sandwich yesterday & slathered horseradish and mayonnaise on it. I did get my poppy’s and zinnias planted yesterday. I hope they grow. You’re gonna have so many gorgeous flowers. Makes good bee food which helps your veggies get pollinated as well. 😊❤😊🙏
Tipper you are genuinely prettiest sweetest girl.....im so proud of all your accomplishments God has helped you with. Granny lucky to have your help dedication just like Ms Cindy. Bless all you. You are handling all with serene dignity. Being an inspiration to many of us.
Amen 🙏✝️🙏🕊🥰🌺

You are so nice! Thank you 😊
Count on it, Tipper! I’ll be dropping by often! 💖💖

You look so happy working the garden. We had golfball size hail here tonight. I bet I have roof damage. Will know tomorrow. 😢
i love your gardening videos, i can't wait to see the flowers
I just enjoy and look forward watching you everyday Tipper! I love you and your family! You've taught me alot of things about gardening!! God Bless y'all!!❤😊
Thanks so much
Good job!! 👏 👏 👏
Thank you! 😃

I bought a blanket flower last year and I love it. It overwintered no problem. I also love Nasturtiums. Last year was the first year I had grown them and was thrilled to save the seeds. I look forward to seeing how your garden turns out this year. 😊
Tipper, this was such a great video. I’m looking forward to seeing your gardens come to life. I still need to plant my flower seeds. I hope it isn’t too late. My husband and I have been working on our flower bed in the front of our house. He ordered a fountain and we put it in that area. I just love it. How sweet it was so hear you speak so kindly about what a great Mama Katie is. I knew she would be. She’s had a great example. I feel very sure that Cori will be as well. ❤
Really enjoyed this video. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Always a blessing to see your beautiful flowers and garden plants you and Matt really keep everything looking beautiful around your home ❤️ Shelby
Aww greasy beans. I’m in my third year of planting pink tip greasy beans I got from the sustainable mountain agriculture in NC. Have them Growing here in Kentucky. Delicious!
Watched the video yesterday and really enjoyed the garden update. You have mentioned how you love radishes but Matt doesn't. I like them too. A tip that might help Matt change his mind about radishes. He doesn't like them raw, so boil them. They taste like cooked cabbage or a very, very mild turnip. Even similar to a rutabaga. You can cut them in half or boil them whole. They don't take very long to cook. When done, pour off the boiling water...then I add butter, salt, and pepper. There is no "bite" of heat left, just a mild cabbage flavor. I haven't tried roasting them yet , but wonder if the taste would become like the boiled ones? Since Matt likes boiled cabbage, I bet he would be surprised about the taste of boiled radishes. Worth a try....and then you have a good reason to plant more radishes! 😉😁💕
Allysums' good. You know it'll come back if you let it go to seed,or save some flowers to dry. Thank you for the tips on the Onions✨👍
Thanks for the tip!
You're welcome🤗Like Cilantro too!! Great in salads, salsas and adding to dressings.
I've been planting flowers too Tipper. Always fun to hang with you in the garden. Thank you Tipper.
Love the video!❤
Thank you!!
Thanks, Tipper for taking us around your garden. Tipper you're a wonderful mother. Katie is a wonderful mother and Corie is going to be a wonderful mother too. God bless ya'll ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much
I am really enjoying time in my little garden. Everything is growing and doing well. I planted zucchini and watermelon and pumpkin outside the garden hoping it does well, so far so good. I can’t wait for my potatoes to be ready!
Tipper, it's so much fun watching you, or you and Matt, work in the garden. There's such satisfaction in seeing the transformation at the end, whether it's beds that are nicely weeded, or seeds that are planted, that I feel guilty because I enjoy the results, but didn't lift a finger to help, lol.
Sweet sentiments about Katie. Your girls will be such good mothers because they've learned from you.
Thank you for letting us help you celebrate Appalachia, whether it's through gardening, discussing language or hearing from those who share about times gone by. Prayers continue for Granny and the rest of you.
Days of rain and high winds in SC last two weeks.
Tipper, you planting some radishes brought back some great memories of my mom who would have a “radish sandwich” as a snack ( sometimes for breakfast with a cup of black coffee), she would slice the radish thin with a little salt & put on some butter bread… moms been gone for 15 years (April) now & watching you & your beautiful daughters always reminds me of my years with my Mom… thanks for a wonderful channel. (Who knew that seeing radishes starting to sprout would bring so many emotions 🥰🥹)
Love how everything is coming together. Garden is going to be beautiful! Talking about mothers day, Miss Cindy, Granny and the girls made me emotional. You are truly blessed.
Thanks for taking us along today!
Tipper, it’s always a blessing to watch your channel
I've got butter beans sprouting, ,hurray! let's hope the rabbits leave them alone!
I really like dahlias and I enjoyed herbs daisys. I don’t plant now that I’m in Arizona. Yards are rocks that the people have brought in. There are no gardens here. Some of the cactus that we all just thought nothing of grow beautiful here and have absolutely beautiful flowers and lantana and bougainvillea grow here and make big bushes. It’s just too hot and dry. When it rains it is so light we can walk in it. Very seldom get a little rain maybe 1-2 times a year so we have to suffer through 118-120 degree summers. I from South Carolina and lived in the country so in 5 years I’m still not use to this desert. No veggie stands like we had. (Gerba daisies)
Yes high rated a
Tipper, you and I are on the same team for horseradish! It adds a nice sparkle to many things including deviled eggs.
Thanks Tipper for sharing, Just love your garden & when y’all are out there helping each other. It’s a breath of fresh air! Lots of love ❤️ ❤ & Prayers
Of course KATIE’S a good momma. She comes from what sounds like a line of good momma’s. She come by it honestly. CORIE as well. Your garden looks wonderful. So glad it survived all that wind and rain 🌧. Thanks for the root tearing tip and the cook book information. God bless you and yours
Four o clocks were my great granddads favorite flower!
We are trying sweet potatoes in a couple of our grow bags this year. We grew a few last year in a raised bed and they did ok, but not great. We are going to compare grown in the ground and grown in grow bags this year.
Hi Tipper, I like Horseraddish too, iI like to put it on any roast or put it in mustard and make sabdwiches it's good mixed in mayo too, just gives a bite to the sandwich.
Hi Tipper, watched the girl's channel and it looks like you had a great Mother's Day. Be well and God bless.
Thank you John 😊
We haven’t been to the green house yet. I am afraid all the pepper plants will be gone…just can’t stand on my foot long enough to get things done. Lee has planted more onions, this is the third planting. We eat them as soon as they get big enough…I lost my chives last year. The garlic chives are still doing good. Need to cut them back and dry them and sew some more chive seed.
Thanks tipper,I love flowers too, your place is gonna be wonderful,so glad you and granny are home,Paul and Steve too God bless your family❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much
😮put you some Egyptian onions and you can have green onions the year Round they can stand cold weather and if you want more just take the little onion bulb that comes on the top plant them I kept a row in my garden for years we always had green onions they multiple like crazy just take what you need from the bunch they are delicious to me
Your videos are just like I came over and we were visiting in your garden or at your kitchen table. Your garden and yard are just so pretty.. I worked in my garden today and it was so windy. But I got 24 new asparagus planted and I got my frost garden watered. My frost garden so far has outsmarted Jack but my carrots, most of my lettuce, & my beets didn’t come up. We didn’t get our usual spring rains like we usually do and I think that’s why. But I have sugar pod peas, some lettuce, radishes, and English peas that have come up. I’ve been eating asparagus from my established asparagus bed too. Oh my rhubarb is up. I lost one plant but one other is doing quite well. I’m hoping to make some jam (it’s my favorite)this year. Rhubarb is like asparagus you have to wait 2 or 3 years before you can cut it. I love cilantro. My mom and my middle daughter don’t like it at all. I love horseradish on roast beef, it’ll knock the air right out of you if you get too much, lol. Have a wonderful evening. TeresaSue
That all sounds so good!! You will be eating so good 😊
My dad used to grow good size gardens. He used to plant green onions with a big butted bottom of them when they got ready he’d go out to the garden pull one up wipe it off stand there and eat it. He said it was really good.
Thank you❤️
More rain coming
Tku for sharing this is like home in mountains was
Praying and Blessed! 🤗🙏💕
I grew 4oclocks for the first time last year. They were very beautiful and I have some started inside in my window sill. I’ll be planting them outside soon.
My grandma made the BEST meatloaf with creamed horseradish as an ingredient. Here is the recipe: 2 lbs ground beef
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups bread crumbs (4 slices of bread)
1 large onion, minced fine
6 tsp horseradish
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup ketchup
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Shape in loaf pan. Spread 1/2 cup ketchup over loaf. Bake 40-45 minutes at 400 degrees.
(My husband likes the ketchup to "carmelize" on top of the meatloaf so I bake the meatloaf for 55 minutes to 1 hour)
ENJOY!!!
Thank you for sharing!❤
@@nopenope6286 You are so very welcome! We then enjoy cold meatloaf sandwiches the next day for lunch😋
Tipper your garden is going to be so amazing! I can’t wait to see all the flowers when they bloom. Have you tried hollyhocks? they are some of the flowers that my dad grew. And I took them and I’ve been growing them. They are so beautiful. I have them in black, red, pink, white and yellow. Have a great week. Can’t wait for your next video.
Thank you! I have grown hollyhocks. They are so pretty 😊
Good amount of planting today Tipper! Can't wait to see all the flowers
Thank you so much for sharing. I always look forward to your videos as I so enjoy your family!
You are so welcome!

It wasn’t Miss Cindy’s doing. Bad chem trails last year! I’m proud of your girls too! ❤🎉 Be Made Blissful Everyone!

Hey Tipper, that hat of yours looks nice on you. Good to see y'alls garden grow as well as you getting more things planted. Yesterday I just put my tomatoes and peppers into the ground. I believe we're done with any frost up here in Michigan. I just watched Pressley Girls Mother's day video and was touched by how terrific your girls are. You and Matt did good!
Thanks, Tipper!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Enjoyed ❤looking forward to watching your garden grow 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Things will get better 🙏
Love seeing your gardening progress. 🙂 I have Rattlesnake beans ready to pick! 🤗 I'm so thankful that I learned about those from your channel. And, Horseradish, I absolutely LOVE it!!!! 👍❤️
Wonderful!
I just got mine planted today and can't wait to try them!
My momma use to plant candytuff, thank you for the memory, I'm going to find some to plant in honor of momma :)
There’s a gene that makes us like or dislike cilantro!
It does seem like cilantro is one of those that people passionately like or dislike.
Hope your Mom? Mom n law ? Is getting better❤✝️🕊️🦁
Mom 😊 thank you!
Tipper, 2 or3 weeks ago I cut the roots of my greens onions leaving just enough of the onion to hold the roots together. I just sent Mary to pull one, sure enough, I had an onion. Won't have to buy any more seeds, God Bless.💚& 🙏🙏 er's. Jean
❤❤❤your yard is beautiful
Thank you!!
Just catching up on the video's we were gone for a week. My husband wants to know what herb you all eat to make you move so fast😅 we laugh when you all speed up the film. Keeping you all in our prayers so happy granny is getting better and the new baby almost here. Give Ira a kiss.
😊 thank you
Just had supper and had kilt lettuce for the first time ever had never heard of it till you all we loved it. My mom always made wilted lettuce with vinegar bacon grease and little sugar but this kilt lettuce is mine and Roberts new favorite.
@@CindyEvans-yq6np Wonderful!
Tipper do you grow celery ? I have never seen celery grow. If you do I will be watching your garden to see if I can see it. Gosh you will have a huge garden, I love to see you working in your garden, I know how good it makes you feel. I sure miss my garden when my husband was still living, one never knows what life will bring us do we . ?
I know you miss him so much!! We have never grown celery 😊
everything sure looks nice and neat!! I love horseradish too. Be careful planting them four o'clocks they will soon take over. I've tried for years to keep mine under control but they drop seeds like crazy and in no time they are thick as hops. Every spring I have to pull up a bunch by the roots to keep them from completely covering up my other flowers.
❤❤❤❤❤
