Great to see you get guys rebuilding stuff like this! I’m 16 and love doing the same thing, and it’s pretty hard to find people who would rather work on a bike then play on their PlayStation. Nice work!
Sled Dog Creations you’re right there, I’m also 16 and I’m quite lucky I’ve got a few mates who don’t mind helping. I’ve never had a console I don’t need one......by far the hardest thing though is finding a legal place to ride the damned things

Evan to be honest I have a lot of sympathy for farmers and I can see why they’re anxious about having motorbikes running across their field but yeah if he was nice he’d say ride on the footpath or something
Hey dude asome vids! I think you should take off the two stroke end. It think its to small so the engine can't rev high. If i was you i should weld that end off and buy a cheap silencer and weld it on. And if i was you i should adjust the carb a bit if it still doesn't work. And let the engine run for a great time so it will heat up really good that helps also sometimes. Because maybe there is a bit oil left somewere because it was way overvilled. ItsTycho good advice thanks I’ve cut the 2 stroke exhaust of and have welded a pit bike muffler onto it that fixed the bike running badly as it as to restrictive

If your looking to make some cash why not look for a petrol strimmer usually pick one up cheap or fix one up ready for summer and even petrol lawn mower preferably one that is self propelling meaning the one you dont have to push
Any updates on the dr125? I got one but usually dies when idled in . I suspect it is the carb . Did you change the carb? What might be the problem for to stall whenever I leave the throttle?

Evan yep same problem mate I think the only way to ride legally is to know an amiable farmer, estate owner or someone who has a bloody big garden :)
Tankie Guy there’s a massive field just next to ours but the farmers a major dickhead so he always gets the police to ride on the quad bikes up there

That jb weld spot was a sight glass for the oil level
I bought a 100cc and a 125cc 84 Suzuki in a package deal for 600 (American). They both started, even after sitting for 15 years. Great bikes!

The oil is checked with a glass site next to the kick starter but it seems someone smashed it that's why its had the patch put on.
