For me it worked better attacking genichiro 4 times in phase 1 and 2. This helped me to keep Genichiro in the corner. I found after a third hit hes faster to retaliate and move; feel free to try this for yourself.
Against lady Butterfly fly if you use continuous Nightjar slash, she won't able to do anything. If you want use this technique in second phase then watch out for the ghosts she summouned and use ungo's suger because you get lots damage from her phantom kunai. I beat her that way😁
Gyoubu killed me like twenty times. Im in hirata estate now, just got past the shinobi hunter. Finally got a fourth orayer bead for my first upgrade. Ill fight the fat dude then come back to horseman.
Doing a cheese just limits how much potential you have when you're fighting this boss again, i dont recommend cheesing, just parry then you can learn, except Elden Ring go cheese the bosses there
I get you, but you could say the same about elden ring, the potential you have, learning a boss's pattern, dodging and countering at the right time. I found elden ring too easy compared to some past souls games.
if you kill all the monkeys except 1 or 2, leave from the back end and come back, get the first life deathblow, then use the finger whistle on the monkeys. it should help you kill him easily. you can even use puppet ninjutsu on the sniper monkey on the higher ground when you come back.
I know it's not patched. I've seen it work. But it doesn't work on my game. I play on ps5. but lot of ppl comment on mist raven vid saying it doesn't work for them too.. i don't know if it's a console thing but it's a weird one. use contact medicine, then mist raven to appear from above the monk, but the red dot doesn't appear

Yeah these are defo good for speed running when you just want to get the ending for that platinum 👍🏼
You can make back up saves so you can get all endings in one.
I am at NG+3 i got shura ending in my first and second purification now i am going for dragon return ending and for final immortality ending

Interesting technique
Much easier in the 1 Phase, just 1 Hit then Dodge 1 Hit Dodge thats it.. works also in the 2 Phase

Gyoubu is a decent test for the first boss. but yeah, good idea to get some prayer beads from mini bosses.. extra hp is needed at early game.

I've seen someone make Armored Warrior fall off the ledge by just deflecting his one combo.
nope. has to be pushed off the ledge. but there are easy ways to beat him.

To one shot the currupted monk go behind him poison your self and use reven to make u jump and deathblow him
