My BB lived to be 16 and were some of the best days of my life, thanks to my beautiful BB. She loved Cannon Beach in Oregon as she chased seagulls all day long. My first, and only dog.
Mine became 14.5 yr old before i had to put her down this week because of health problems. Can I ask you what happend with yours? she was also named Bella :)
My loving wife got me into Papillons and Bella is our third. I grew up with Labs and Golden retrievers and still love them as well. Bella is so fun because she is so expressive, cuddly and still loves to play. I am thinking of doing another video about her favorite play games that I have created and which she gets so pumped up. I have appropriately given them the following names: Golf, Mining, Greyhound, T-Ball, and Backhand/Forehand. Thanks for the comments.
@@Technotroni Oh, gosh, I must've missed this! I'm soo sorry about your Baby! Ugh, it's such an awful part of pet ownership! My Kallie had a seizure, when she was about 15 yrs. At some point, she started walking in circles after that--there's a name for it, but I don't remember it anymore...neuro-something, and/or rolling dog syndrome. She was OK like that for awhile, which sounds odd, but I'd read an article that claimed that basically they're still "there" and not to rush and put them down. She eventually went deaf and was walking into walls, so that was too much. I've since read that Papillions are prone to seizures and strokes. What happened to your Baby?
My aunt is a papillon breeder (she does NOT hurt them or be cruel as far as i have seen) and her papillons are absolute fluffballs. In my honest opinion, there is no breed better than a papillon, they are low maintenance, smart and lovable. Just make sure you get two, because they're also incredibly social, even for a dog breed. And the puppies, oh my word the puppies. Papillon puppies are so unfathomably precious. Once you see a papillon puppy and get to interact with them and play, you'll have reached nirvana.
We got Bella a "roomate" a year ago and the two of them are only now starting to socialize. Bella is super attached to my wife and I more than she is to Crystal. But they are making progress together. I personally believe that a single dog is better than two dogs. The single dog bonds to humans more than two dogs do. Just my opinion -but obviously, my wife had a different perspective. I should say that Crystal was a rescue who's breeder had cancer and passed her on to 8 different home for the 18 months of her life and all of those she was kept in a crate. I'll do a video on Crystal. She is also a funny dog but took a year to let us catch her. She is making progress though. Bruce
Brings back so many memories of our little girl Pap when she was a puppy 4 years ago. She’s still very playful but as a puppy she had so much energy she would play several hours a day. She was always searching for something new and challenging. Bella could be her cousin since we got her from a Dallas area breeder.
my first out loud laugh in months ...and all that clapping and laughing ...has started my day on the right track ...I am hoping to adopt a Papillion in the near future ...totally into lying on the floor to exercise my new partner ...a million thanks ...t.
I have a six month old Papillion that is black white & a little brown & like Bella, a little ball of fire. He loves to tear up paper. However he's turning out to be a very good Service Dog for me which is a huge bonus. I have seizures from a tramatic brain injury level 2 & he started coming up my chest smelling up in my nose & mouth! If he goes on about his business. He's never missed yet. So we've had him registered & I take him everywhere with me. It gives me more freedom. I can't drive but I still didn't like to go anywhere, I was afraid I'd have a seizure. Paps are extremely smart & loving dogs. Bella is beautiful of course!😊
Just had to put to rest my beautiful 16-year-old Papillon Dean, he meant the world to me. Thank you for this video, it made me smile and reminded me of him.
Please accept our late condolences. All dogs are great and I am sure the next dog will love you as much as Dean if you give him the same about of time together.
A great Video! We recently adopted a 7 year old Pappillon from a good friend. And I have to say, it has been a amazing. Such a fun, bundle of energy to bring into the house, and my other Dog gets along with her amazingly well. I knew nothing about Pappilons, but am doing my best to play catch up. But she is teaching us quickly ;)
This video made me chuckle and smile but then said when I didn’t see any more videos of Bella. I am thinking of getting a papillon. I had a chihuahua and she was the best chi I could ever ask for.
cherish these times and record record record , because they break your heart when they pass . my opinion best breed and most playful dog ive ever had full of mischief and very very intelligent hope you have bundles of fun .
We do love Bella very much. She is still very playful and is also a fun lapdog. The breed is rather special but I also love big dogs like labradors and golden retrievers. I believe with a proper raising all dogs can be good. Thank you for your comments

Hi Manuela, Thanks for the kind complement. We love Bella to bits. She is sleeping on my lap as I type this. She is sound asleep and won't leave my lap for anything. She is a lot of fun to play with.
Thank you. The daddy is the lead editor and the family CPO (chief play officer). We just lost our beloved Bella, the pap on Saturday. She was almost 14. Bella just zoomed thru the house like yours when she was a pup....about wore the carpet out. They are a wonderful dog....and tough! And SMART....
Please accept our condolences to losing your Bella. They are smart and tough for sure. Bella has worn down the carpet around the chair that she likes to race around. I keep trying to get some video of her because she runs around the chair like a cheetah chasing a gazelle. It is literally leaving tracks in the carpet. All good. You can buy carpet but you can't buy love and fun like that.
These are wonderful. My Pap is 15 weeks old and we adore him. It helps to see others with their Paps. My Luke Skybarker is so smart! He looks at me with curious eyes and always figuring me out. He sits in our porch swing with my husband and checks out the hummingbirds...and they check him out too...

Bella is adorable - Our beautiful girl, Miss Daisy passed at age 16 a few months ago. Brought so much joy to our lives - still got the zoomies occasionally....
Please accept our late condolences. You both benefited from the relationship and I am quite sure that Miss Daisy loved you dearly. I have also lost 5 dogs over the years due to old age. I'm so happy I ran across this video. I love when Bella gets the "zoomies." I'm also super impressed she was able to play fetch from such a young age. My older boy pap never got the hang of it. Our younger girl pap eventually figured it out and would love to play fetch nonstop. 🙂
Thank you for the fun comment. The owners are definitely unique. Bella is a classic papillon. Dogs are rather simple. The more time you put into them the better they become. It is a symbiotic relationship that has benefited mankind for years and frankly, we got the best of the deal.

Hi BondJames 700, Thanks for the encouragement. My wife wanted me to send another reply because the last reply was from my company instead of me. Anyway, Bella is also from a championship father from Sweden. I wonder if our loving dogs are related. Would be fun to find out. I will work to get another video for everyone's viewing pleasure. The last video took me 40 hours of editing but the more I do it the better I get. Based on your encouragement and that of others, I shot some video's tonight of Bella and I playing. I had not seen her in 5 days because my wife was showing her in Utah where she won two best in Breed awards. When Bella saw me she raced to see me so fast that when she put on her breaks, she slid right between my legs. I will have to use that in my next video. Anyway, as I said in my last reply, we are thinking about breading Bella in February. We will keep you and the Bella fans posted.
