  • First ride out on the Cafe Racer. The poor old Suzuki GS750 has been sat around for some time now collecting dust, shortly it will have a new home so it needs to get back on the road. This episode I take the cafe racer for a spin over to Lutterworth MOT Centre for its check up and also provide a bit of a channel update with exciting news of a new workshop/home.

Perhaps a small curved fly screen to add to that classic racing look?😎

There is a possibility i'll have to incorporate that into a new light, will see! also there maybe a front end change and better seat release.

Congrat's on the successful MOT, looked like a well mannered ride on a Very Nice build. Good Luck on the house hunt. Looking forward to see more from your Garage. Be Safe.

Much appreciated, took a Bike Safe course with the police many years ago but was certainly worth it. Really teaches you how to read the road.

Played around with the carb tuning for some time now, I feels just right now and they make an amazing roar. Ideas popping into my head alright for what other mods id like to do for the Cafe :)

Great job superb build. You’re also some
Kind of wizard as so many owners of cafe racers (me included with my 79 750 GS) pull their hair out trying to get their bikes with pod filters to run as good as yours 😂

Im not gonna lie the pods were a nightmare, id put off the carb tuning for so long because of this. Had to be done though so put in brand new set of plugs cleaned the carbs thoroughly and then used a colour-tuner kit, took me a good few afternoons of work but was worth the effort and time.

@@Refusenish I totally forgot! fitted bigger jets in the carbs and took the needle valve up by 1 mark. completely slipped my mind, was at least year ago just before the lockdown and put a halt to everything.
