Thanks to Jon Doe, we are finally flying a FPV airplane. I have only flown this thing 1 time and it was line of sight. I will say this was an exciting adventure. A lot like quads, just totally different. Enjoy!

I did the same mod to the canopy of my Turbo Timber.
I had to remind myself that my plane could fly at 1/4 throttle.

Looks rad I've wanted to get this exact plane for a little park flyer I hate having to go out to a big area to rip wings
that recovery after the crash in the tree was sick!!! Did the prop get stuck in the tree?
Haha yea, watching the dvr back it seems the prop is now a Xmas ornament in that tree 😆
My initial reaction is that the the main point of a P51 model is how cool it is to fly third person (because seeing a P51 Mustang flying around is awesome!). How would you rate your first-person flying experience (versus something more optimized for FPV like a flying wing)?
I flew this for a while LOS, but coming from an fpv background, I got bored with it quick. Tossing the camera on felt right at home for me. This was my first plane of any kind ever, my opinion is skewed
@@InfinityLoops I'm guessing if you place the camera in the canopy area you would get a realistic picture of what a P51 pilot would/could actually see!

Right! I always stayed away from wings because of the LOS I saw. Once I heard fpv was an option I was sold.
I have everything required for this already…guess what I’m doing this weekend.
