I just bought all the parts to build this, I have wanted a Minifigure Scale Delorean for so long, and this design with all the transformations is awesome, props to Sawyer. Can't wait to build it. I will share updates if anyone's interested
@@sawyerhowd9797 Man I already have it displayed and it's amazing, the building experience was so much fun. I do have to be careful with the sausage pieces every time I change the wheels, but it is a great part usage. Great build overall
You should make a minifig scale SR-71 blackbird. The mocs are always detailed and I think a blackbird in a similar build style would really sell how ahead of its time the real blackbird was.
That is EPIC 🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Definitely will buy and build that one. I was never happy with any other version of the Delorean. Almost bought the Lego one, but it’s just too big. Now we finally have a worthy and absolutely brilliant model 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️
I love the model, definitely a big improvement on the original, but I’ve been looking at scenes from the films and when folded I think the wheels should stick out more than they do. Understandable tho, impressive that the mechanism that’s there fits as is
Very valid point:) I looked at methods for putting the hinge point beneath the wheel axis, the options were severely limited at this scale, and I really wanted the model to have the high ride-height. With the high ride height, I chose to put the hinge above the wheel axis, so the wheels don't stick out when folded. Good eye for detail! Thanks for the feedback:) Maybe I can fix that on the next version😂
Most of the assymetry was between the c-pillar and the shoulder, but I went for the cleaner look of the 2x4 wedge plates, so those greeble details were sacrificed. I could have made room for them, sure, but I would have sacrificed the very important shaping of the c-pillar that ties the rear together. In my opinion, shaping is more important than fine detailing.
It's great but I like hachiroku24 DeLorean better. Hachiroku24's representation of the time travel technology at the back of the car is not as great and representative of the BTTF Time Machine as in here, I MOC it.
Now THAT is a perfect LEGO BTTF Deloran.
You clearly haven’t seen LEGO’s last set…
@@Capt_Chaos_91 I should rephrase, Minifigure scale Delorean.
I’ve seen better
@@JLikesStarWars Good for you.
It doesn't even resemble the car though.
At 5:14 I was thinking: nice look for the A-frame and doors, too bad they had to sacrifice the gull-wing opening… WOW!
I was not expecting a revisit to this model but I am not disappointed!

Wow, that looks sweet! Might have to update my delorean right after I update my tie interceptor 🤩
I just finished building it and it is awesome
I'm glad you like it!
great scott!
I wish lego would just make this a speed champions set and make a windscreen for this
This is flipping beautiful! At some point, I want to see brickvault selling one of the time machines from the Phineas and Ferb Universe. XD

Not me already thinking about designing an sr 71👀
One of my favorite air vehicles
I can't unsee that A pilar made from straight droid arm.

That SNOT hood looks lovely. Does it open up to show the engine?
Thanks! It does not, all the space underneath the hood goes to the wheel folding mechanism
The DeLorean had the engine in the back
Genius
The Mandelorian..:)

i wonder if its possible to use a front window part on this build..
the seen at 1:31 is just hilarious
This is way better than the 2019 Delorean (1.0)
Also I did not know about that new Lego piece
The front bumper of the car it needs to be white
@@arickard108You’re right it should be white
The parts list you provided on the website for this moc is the parts list of the 1.0 Delorean and not the 2.0 one.
You get a parts list at the end of the instructions if you buy them
Wownthisblooksnway better than the actual one they're and sell by lego
The new topic should be about pixars cars
Can u do a tutorial of how to order please? I am very confused
There should be one on their website:)
@@sawyerhowd9797 oh it’s u who made the 1.0 and 2.0 car!
Hello! Is your museum in San Diego permanently closed? That's what Google says right now >😢
Can u pls include the parts with the instructions?
Please make a Supermarine Spitfire plsthx
you guys should do a vid on pixel dans pirate snub fighter from the mandalorian season 3
How come the model has no asymmetry? Especially in the back

you sure that's not a 73 Chrysler Imperial?
Where can i get the Lego Rick and morty ? 😮
